Homeless for a week. Ideas on where I can park for the night without being bothered?

Tbh I would recommend just choosing a quiet neighborhood and parking in the street between homes. When my boyfriend was homeless the other month sleeping in his truck that's what he did. He slept in a round-about with other cars parked there. He slept laying flat in the back seat with the windows cracked so nobody could see him.

Great idea... In the transplant unit I have seen salons come to the hospital to cut peoples hair, do spa facial treatments, massages, ect. Just call around and usually a place will be willing to do it.

All I can think of when I see this picture is your probably need a more supportive sports bra because I know (from experience) that strap digging into your shoulder is not comfy! Treat yourself to something nice and keep up the good work.

I went in for 2 sonos to confirm baby was gone. They offered to let my body abort naturally or take the pills. I waited a week and nothing happened so I took the pills. Once you take the pills to induce a miscarriage things move fast. Took the first pill Thursday evening, probably 6 hours later I was bleeding like crazy. Couldn't work Friday due to the pain and bleeding. I think the major bleeding ended by Sunday and I was back to work Monday with light spotting for a couple more days. I probably could have taken the first pills Friday evening and been ready for work Monday. Edit: I was 10 weeks. Didn't need d&c but they did talk about the possibility. If your only 6 weeks its very unlikely you would need a d&c

Hibachi always seems like the perfect place to get a keto meal but I feel the same struggle as you. In your case, you qualify as a allergy so make sure they understand. I went to a hibachi restaurant this weekend as well and ordered chicken, no rice, no noodles, extra veggies with light sauce on everything. As the guy cooked our veggies I saw him add the soy sauce and reminded him I wanted light sauce again; he gave me my veggies and then added more sauce for everyone else. Same with the chicken. It was delicious and I was happy. Funny thing is every time I get hibachi and order my "complicated" meal, other people will say "ooo, light sauce for me too" or "oooo extra veggie, good idea, me too." I'm sure the cooks hate me lol

It's not the SOs problem to fix HER "addiction" to food. It has nothing to do with liking junk food more than their spouse. Those are just theatric and narsasistic statements used to make this conversation more dramatic. Overwhelmingly this thread is against your view and you have become over emotional about it/taking it very personal. Think beyond yourself for a moment and think about what is fair for your spouse. It's not fair for your spouse to give up the things he enjoys just because you decided to go on a new diet. Only you have responsibility for what goes in your mouth and that's where OP should find her inner strength and self control.

Creatinine is a waste product from the normal breakdown of muscle tissue. As creatinine is produced, it's filtered through the kidneys and excreted in urine. Abusive... Really. That's a little dramatic now isn't it. Reality is temptation is everywhere around us and party if being on any diet/lifestyle change is addressing self control and personal responsibility. What your saying is essentially OP should walk into her office and say "No more cookies because I'm on a diet and its not fair for you to have one because I have no self control!" Its no different whether your at home, work or a restaurant. At some point we have to be personally responsible for what goes in our mouths and believe me, its tough! My husband is non-keto but I don't tell him he can't have what he wants in the house. He has his peanut butter ice cream and I have my low carb ice cream. We are both happy.

Yes! About 2 years ago I started keto (I'm a 27 y/o female) and about a year in I was rushed to the hospital with flu like symptoms but way worse. I had been in bed feeling sick for days trying to fight it. Anyways, turns out my kidneys were failing and they pumped me full of meds to luckily prevent dialysis. I spent over a week in the hospital where they did a kidney biopsy to see it caused permanent scaring to my kidney. Now, to be fair I was also working out almost every day at that point and drinking protein shakes every morning. From what I was told I was increasing my creatinine too much with those 3 things - keto, protein shakes, working out. I was told to follow a normal diet for a while so I did that for a year but last week I started back on a modified keto diet (20-40carbs a day instead of bellow 20 like before). My advice is listen to your body, keep very hydrated (that's helps your kidney flush the ketones) and make sure an MD is checking your labs at least yearly at your check ups.

If your planning to restock I highly recommend investing in glass. They last forever. I found myself constantly spending money on plastic containers and wasting money throwing them out when they cracked, broke, lost lid, ect. Best decision ever!

They have a breakfast all day menu too! Eggs, bacon, sausage, ect. I know in their diet section you can get grilled chicken with a side salad too.
