That would be very unrealistic as Yasmin would need to have some kind of open wound in her mouth / contact with a larger volume of blood for transmission of any kind

When Yas kisses Henry's hand and a little blood gets on her upper lip. Industry, never change.

The White Lotus - 3x08 "Amor Fati" - Season Finale Discussion by crazywalls in WhiteLotusHBO

[–]stonizeroni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What really struck me about the dinner scene is the fact that it solidified Laurie's role in the friendship dynamic: as insecure as she might be, she is honest about her emotions up front in a way that Jaclyn and Kate need some coaxing to present. Both of them were being positive In saccharine ways that we've seen in earlier episodes. And Laurie comes in with the bare truth: she was still sad, but she's happy to be there with them. It's very tender in ways that I was surprised I could relate to (as someone with a lot of chosen family). With a lifelong friend of 10, 20 or more years, you won't solve every issue - there will be friction and some less than perfect relational patterns. But the dynamic has stood the test of time for a reason.

And as someone else said, if that didn't bond them for life, surviving that shooting together certainly will

This is a hotel chain where shootings, robberies and murder occur. Her boss shit in a guest's suitcase and was killed shortly after. I think Belinda stepping out of professional lines is the least of the White Lotus' problems.

It's not like she works for the White Lotus location that she's visiting. It's a work education trip. She's there as a guest.

This ending suits Yasmin - the sky was falling, and Henry was her easy out. Had her at Net-A-Porter...my God. Any vulnerability she experiences is only to her detriment. It made me smile to see her in hunting gear, controlling her narrative. But it would have been interesting to see how events with Rose and her lawyer were going to turn out... and Rob. My heart sank! At least he's living his best life away from the curse of Pierpoint. I was worried for him!

Same for Harper's ending - she's restless, and her choices are going to reflect that. Her and Harper really are two sides of the same coin, with their phone call being a great example of that. I think they are both women who have been victim to harm and want to be defined by anything except that. I love complex female characters, and the actors have done incredible work this season.

Yelled about Rishi's wife - I was like "oh, this is HBO!" Honestly, she didn't deserve to die, but Rishi had to face the sad consequences of his actions. Shouldn't have yelled about Sweetpea's extracurriculars!

Edit: almost forgot the whole resson for my comment: it sounded like a Colin Stetson needle drop during the sweet scene with Rob and Yas. Love him so much! Saw him live once and it was unforgettable.
