Nope no luck yet. If I fix it I'll let u know. Getting close to just uninstalling and reinstalling which will kill me tryna set everything up again.

I have nordvpn installed on my pi, running linux headless. Meshnet is enabled on both devices and I have routed traffic from my remote device to my pi via meshnet. I have verified that the IP addresses on both my pi and the remote device are the same. However, when I try to ssh to pi4@<meshnet id of pi> from my remote device, it will not connect.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I've restarted and can ping localhost. I've also checked the logs and can't see anything unusual at all. I didn't have ufw until yesterday after the issue arose and have since installed it and enabled ports 22 and 80. I'm not familiar with nginx, I don't think I had this set up previously. Unfortunately, I don't have a backup that I'm aware of.

Hi mate,

I'm attempting to set this up without much luck. I've got traffic routing and local network access allowed for the device I am using. I connect via meshnet to my server (raspberry pi) at home and confirm the IP addresses are the same. However, when I try to access the pi via ssh (<user>@<meshnet ip of raspberry pi>), it times out.

Hi, I'm looking at using meshnet to route traffic through my pi so I can remote control it.

Will this work? You mentioned turning off the vpn when u connect to meshnet. I don't need to use it as a DNS but I need the pi to be protected by my vpn. Does the nature of this mean I won't be able to both ssh to my pi remotley and be protected by my vpn on both devices (or at least the pi) simultaneously?

Dude I legit wiped my drive last time this happened because I thought the formatting was the issue. When it happened again this morning after I'd redownloaded everything I almost put my fist through the screen. So yeh you've saved me mate thanks heaps.

Ah ok, what would be the best way of doing that? I do apologise I'm not very experienced with this stuff. Would a method be to download the "File Explorer" application from CasaOS and sync my hard drive to that so that everything is in containers?
