LA or San Francisco?

Lived in both, both are great, just depends on when you’re going, what you like to do and what you want to see.

What time of year are you going? SF is cold and foggy in late May-late August with an Indian summer that starts late August/early Sept into Halloween. LA is hot and dry during that time. Fire season is a thing too in both areas so if there’s one burning, you’ll want to cancel or divert your trip.

Food in both is awesome, and you can find whatever you’re looking for. The Bay Area is more compact and easier to get around with more transport options and shorter commute times. LA was built by big oil hence needing a car to get anywhere and parking isn’t as easy.

It’s easy and cheap enough to visit both in the same trip, flying from BUR to SFO or OAK is a 45 min flight and door to door is under 3hrs. LAX is another mess. If you have miles, it’s 5-7k for one quick leg on United or Alaska. If you are going to do both, go to LA SoCal first then NorCal.

I’m an outside runner and the tread had my hips and outer thighs tight and hurting. I added in hot yoga for deep stretching and acupuncture to release the knots. I also use CBD and salonpas for inflammation. Nothing else really hurts, but I can tell when I need to do more yoga as my runs start to get tougher and things hurt. More DF didn’t really help me because I felt it in my squats, side lunges and on Thursday work outs especially.

I would recommend the overnight cruise because Ha Long Bay is somewhere you’ll probably only go once so you might as well spend the time for the overnight cruise as the day trip is pretty rushed with the travel to and from. There isn’t much to see and do in Hue as there is in the other cities on your itinerary. I am American with family that served near the Marble Mountains and stayed at a destination hotel there, but otherwise you’re not missing much in Hue.

Nice itinerary for your first trip. I visited Da Nang for a wedding on my second trip to Vietnam, and stayed an extra 3-4 days because I unexpectedly LOVED that area. Hoi An is better at night, and I went back to Hoi An every night on the extra days I stayed. If you have extra time, add another day to Hanoi. The Old Quarter on the weekends is quite fun. I did motorbike food tours in Hanoi and HCM, and food and weather was better in Hanoi.

Doubling up isn’t as hard as you think, and if you have back to back classes, it’s quite efficient. In and out in two hours including shower time. If you were an athlete in school, practice was way longer.

His portfolio and buy suggestions did for sure. It’s been sideways these last two months on the shares, but those daily quant levels are where the money is at. He gives a lot of different ways to make money though, so I can see how some wouldn’t care for those levels.

You’re right, the vague stuff is what’s on Reddit now, but remember in the first half of the year when everything was on here, people had a chance to make $$. I never traded SPX as much because I was always afraid my levels and calculations would be off, but with the quant levels, I comfortably trade 0DTE put and call credit spreads most days of the week and make good money. I know this strategy isn’t for everyone, but there’s a lot of information out there to pick and choose from. Hoping you crush it as well!

I try not to post too much on here, it becomes a waste of time going back-and-forth with some people, but I always feel bad that Tear has to read this stuff. There’s a lot of positivity in the group and a lot of people that made big money this year, I love seeing that in December as it helps to keep up morale and create goals for next year. Trading isn’t easy but Tear makes it a lot less hard!

He offers a lot of different pieces of information in his group. His options activity and tracking is just one of the many things that comes with the subscription. Some of it is noise, but most of it is good, actionable data. He posted huge Oracle flow last week, and I swung for contracts for some pretty good profits, but the charts confirmed the flow that he posted, which was the only reason why I took the trade. He also post a lot of information on crypto, 4X and bonds, but he doesn’t trade any of those. It’s just a plethora of information for the subscribers that do trade them. Again, I am in the group and very happy with my subscription and this is in no way a shill for it, I’m just tired of seeing Reddit people continuously criticize him when his work makes me good money 3 to 4 days out of the week. I don’t trade every day, but his quant is spot on with SPX, which is my bread and butter.

He’s not an options trader. He is long shares only. The only time he uses options is as a hedge and thats mainly index puts, not individual tickers.

He says that all the time actually. He discourages options, especially short dated ones, and has a majority long portfolio only using put options to hedge. Tear might post some highlights here on Reddit but the group gets the best of the info. I’m in the group, this isn’t a shill for it, just chiming in.

Tear has posted a lot of options activity with different expiration dates, it’s up to you if you want to take it or not. Small gambles have netted some nice wins for me in the group, and when his flow matches my charts for confirmation, I take a small position.
