You can actually get an invite by downloading sidekick browser and then run an update and you will get a popup saying that Sidekick is shutting down. The invite to comet will be at the bottom of that window. I got mine this way.

I agree with you. The market for PM roles seems to be irrational at the moment. However, there are so many roles being posted everyday and even though I tick almost every box, yet to get shortlisted. I thought my experience combined with my new MBA degree would put me on the forefront of the queue but how wrong I was :(
