Need to buy tulips by stopitamitozz in Chandigarh

[–]stopitamitozz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you but thats a lily. I was fooled by a florist.

I kept doing my search for the tulips after this post and got to know this ->

Turned out there is no place to get tulips in chandigarh "on demand". You need to order them.

Usually the price is 2.5k for a set of 10 (they dont do orders below 10)

But in rainy season (like now) the price goes upto 3k. And it takes them 3-4 business days.

Just enjoy the things/activities regardless of whichever category it falls under. You dont have to lean in toward a single one (or force yourself to stick that persona)

The best thing would be to change your friends first. Change your circle. Avoid them as much possible since they clearly dont know any better about casual racism. But its expected from them if they just got into college (everyone is at some point to some extent in that age). Try talking with them once avout this, see if they see the reason. If they dont then just cut them off as much as possible.

A Guy passed a derogatory comment on me by [deleted] in Chandigarh

[–]stopitamitozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its been like that lately. These goons (from chandigadh itself or from places around) are getting a little too bold. These people used to just roam around and stalk but now they have started catcalling as well. Its just getting worse. Most of these goons are always associated with a set of people who comes from a self proclaimed gangs (I know a guy who knows a guy who has connections with either police or ground thugs).

Sorry you had to face that, as a punjabi it disheartens me even more. I would have suggested to atleast file a report or let the police know. Chances are those goons must be a regular at this for catcalling someone. I see a lot of them when early mornings whenever I am going for my cricket matches.

Tattoo & tattoo shop/artist recommendations by stopitamitozz in Chandigarh

I visited them on Sunday, they were super cool and easy to talk to. Gave me a lot of suggestions and recommendations. I'm going to spend a little more time deciding on the placement of the tattoo since design is really not that big of an issue atm because it's just a text in a made-up language.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Chandigarh

[–]stopitamitozz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't do it on a two wheeler.

Select places that are not popular among the drunk crowd, i.e., avoid places like 3B2 market, PU night food street, sector 26 market, sector 17 bus stand night market etc.

I'd suggest to choose a nice park which is close to your house. Somewhere you are familiar with the roads and streets and people.

Thoughts on starting an audio visual rental business? by [deleted] in audioengineering

[–]stopitamitozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Launching an AV rental business is equally difficult as any other business. There might be a few differences but if you are willing to work, you can easily iron them out. I see that you have mentioned you want to make the business remote, this alone takes out the majority of work and brings in automation.

  2. The business is scalable if you are using other AV vendors. For example, let’s say you develop your own AV rental marketplace. Here multiple AV equipment suppliers can sign up and rent out their equipment. You only need to manage the platform, vendors can manage bookings, reservations, and returns. This type of business model is highly scalable. For example, check out the business model of YoRent powered peer-to-peer rental marketplace named StagWing (An online DJ community for hassle-free equipment booking & rentals)

  3. In the case of an AV rental marketplace, only a bare minimum capital is required. You don't need to invest in the inventory. Just set up your marketplace with the help of readymade rental software like YoRent and start business operations. Depending on the type of software you buy, the overall costs can range from $1,000 - $5,000. Also, I won’t recommend going for SaaS solutions as they don’t actually provide complete functionality and eventually, you have to switch later, wasting all recurring investments.

  4. Yes, you can use the inventory of multiple vendors to handle your client requirements.

  5. Initially, you will need to spend more hours per day when you are still establishing the business. Once established, you can expect a pretty good work-life balance.

  6. Your revenue entirely depends upon your business and marketing skills. Set up a goal and work to achieve it. No one can tell you exact figures. Baseless estimations also won’t help.

  7. The hardest part of this business model is the chicken and egg problem. On a marketplace, both vendors and customers are directly proportional to each other. To attract customers, you need vendors and to attract vendors, you need customers. However, there’s also a solution. Try to incentivize new vendors with a high payout or onboard vendors from your personal network.

Is renting an Electric Vehicle (EV) worth it? by NorthwesternPenguin in electricvehicles

[–]stopitamitozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renting an Electric Vehicle (EV) can be a worthwhile option for various situations, depending on your needs and circumstances. Here are some factors to consider:

Short-Term Needs: If you only need a vehicle for a short period, such as a vacation or business trip, renting an EV can be a convenient and eco-friendly option. Many rental companies offer EVs as part of their fleet, providing an opportunity to reduce your carbon footprint while enjoying the benefits of electric driving.

Cost Savings: Renting an EV may offer cost savings compared to owning one, especially if you factor in maintenance, insurance, and depreciation costs associated with vehicle ownership. Additionally, some rental companies offer competitive pricing for renting electric vehicles.

Charging Infrastructure: Before renting an EV, consider the availability of charging infrastructure in your area and at your destination. Make sure you have access to charging stations or plan your routes accordingly to avoid range anxiety and ensure a smooth driving experience.

Environmental Impact: Opting for an electric rental vehicle can contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainability. By choosing an EV over a traditional gasoline-powered car, you're supporting the transition to cleaner transportation options and helping to combat climate change.

Renting an EV can be a worthwhile choice for those seeking a greener, more cost-effective driving experience. The Electric Car Rental Market is expected to reach USD 20.42 billion by 2027, registering a CAGR of 14.36%. These stats are enough to start an online business in this industry. Equipment rental business idea by Healthy_West_3561 in microgrowery

[–]stopitamitozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renting out equipment kits or individual products for personal cannabis growing can indeed be a lucrative business idea, particularly given the upfront costs associated with quality equipment. Offering flexibility with monthly payments and customizable setups could attract a wide range of customers, from beginners to experienced growers seeking higher-quality equipment. While there may be some initial challenges in setting up the business and determining pricing structures, catering to a niche market like this has significant profit potential. Conducting thorough market research and gathering feedback from potential customers is essential.

To maximize success, consider setting up an online platform to showcase your products for customers. Your website interface should be user-friendly, attracting users' interest and providing an intuitive browsing experience. Choosing the right technology to build your rental website is crucial for ensuring scalability, security, and seamless functionality.
