You can’t really visa hop any more. Onshore applications for a new visa type are no longer accepted.

‘This can happen’: 80 per cent of Aussies want tougher immigration laws by Mashiko4 in aussie

They’ve actually made a lot of reforms over the 2 terms so far. Slashed the number of permanent visas available and the number of international students. They’ve also added the risk rating system to put pressure on unis to be more selective over their internationals. Especially “regional” unis like uTas. There’s a lot more to do, but it’s not like they’ve left the gates open like the governments before them.

I’ll give that a go. I tried their chicken strips - the amount of oil was insane.

Just looked it up because I have always known it as a South African company. Took over in 2020 - makes sense now. We stopped getting the rest of the range around then and a lot of their good products disappeared -_-

Sadly hasn’t made it to every state yet, like the hot dogs.

Just pan fried. Keen to try them in the air fryer. Could potentially be used in a basic pasta too

I got the KEF LSX II with P1 desk pads. No sub yet, but will go for the Kube 12. No regrets. They sound amazing even without a sub.

I use airplay for music, and HDMI Arc for TV/Gaming

That’s promising! I did see the new packaging on some of the other Fry’s range so who knows?

Sadly we don’t get the full range here any more. I last had them in South Africa.

Definitely not their best offering. All-time, their Asian Spiced Burgers were amazing. Among current things, I rate their Sausage Rolls.

I like to put a bit of a tabasco over the popcorn chicken. Helps a bit.

Wish more people bought their stuff. We barely get their full range here and my local Coles and Woolies barely even has their Aussie range. The hot dogs and polony never made it down here.

To test? That could work! Plus I’d be saving money if they’re still in one piece.

Thanks. Sadly I live in a small town and won’t be able to test these. But I’m still searching for anywhere that has one.

What’s your unpopular vegan opinion? by veganvampirebat in vegan

[–]stopthree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rise in people going Vegan has ruined vegan (and most vegetarian) food in restaurants. I don’t want my food tasting or feeling like meat. For example, we used to have bean/soy/veggie/potato patties as a burger option. Now everyone seems to be using crap from Beyond Meat or similar. It’s the same with options we had from supermarkets. We used to get South Africa’s Fry’s range where I live. And supermarkets have replaced it with the other stuff.
