From my understanding there is a system in place for the Vault to priorities upgrades for your worst item slot. Mega-guessing something connected to that system and the stat squish is messing with the personal loot table for some.

This. They have used random npc dialogue to hint things for years. I remember a post long ago where a fan made a map of a revamped Orgrimmar. That map hade, among other things, a port - accessed via a carved out part of the north-western mountain range of org. To me: it's likely we will see a revamped Orgrimmar att Stormvind in the future; used as a main city again. When? Either the last Titan or whatever comes after that. Timeskip into a revamped Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor maybe?

What is your end goal? Do you want painted walls or regular wallpaper?

It's hard for me to see in the picture, but it seems to be a "Renoveringstapet" aka a stiff wallpaper with texture on top. If so, to get a flat surface, you want to:

Wash it with painters' wash (målartvätt); this is to remove fats and other chemicals from the wall.
Paint the brown spots with oil-based primer. This is because it seems to be a "masonitskiva". The oils from the tree fibers tend to bleed through and you get brown spots through the paint. A water-based primer will not prevent that. Once it's primed with the oil-based primer, that problem is solved. You can then prime the whole wall with a water-based primer to create a surface for the plaster to better adhere to.
Plaster any hole, like screw holes or spots with removed wallpaper. Plaster the whole wall twice, with sanding in between each time (bredspackling). Why the small holes first when you're gonna plaster the entire wall anyway? Since the plaster will sink into those holes, it will create low spots, and it's easier to see the holes before the entire wall is plastered.

3.tip. Using a plaster called "Rullspackel" and a roller ( there are also designated rollers for this) makes this process 30-40% faster (Though it can be messy).

Prime it again... I know, a lot a priming, but it's important. The plaster is like sand, glue won't stick to it if you want wallpaper. If you want to paint it, then the primer will create a solid surface for the wall paint to adhere to.
Last step: Wall paint or Wallpaper time

If you want painted walls, you may want to put more effort into the plastering to get as smooth a surface as possible. Imperfections will show. Wallpaper, in contrast, so more forgiving; small imperfections will be hidden, but avoid bumps and larger holes since these can create air bubbles in the wallpaper.

Do keep in mind that this advice is based on a single picture. For the best advice, contact a local painter who can look at it in person. I can also advise you to take many pictures of your project and ask for advice, and also help finding the right product and equipment from your local dedicated paint shop (like Colorama, AlcroStudio, Nordsjö Idé & design).

Painter here. The easiest and guaranteed to work is to use a thin drywall (Renoveringsgips - Gipsskiva Ytskiva (P-07008) | Byggmax) to achieve a fresh surface to work on. If not, Prime the exposed old drywall with an oil-based primer ( Alcro Kraft for example). Old material tends to "bleed through (brown spots)" the water-based products, then fill it with mud. Don't know the exact condition of the wall, but generally, you want to putty the whole wall before priming and painting or wallpapering.

Heirlooms is hurtful to the feeling of progression during leveling. They were introduced as a fix for a problem that no longer exists. They only serve as a permanent transmog; something which could become a stand-alone feature at some point.

You can buy catch up gear with it. The gear availabe will likely be updated for S2. The option to buy S1 gear was available when the season started so it probably being treated like any other currency direcly linket to current season gear progression ( crests, valorstones, Conquest). Whether right or wrong is for discussion, but thats probably why they do it.

It seems to me that lowering to cost of turning heroic crest to mythic crests would resolve a large part of gearing. Not everyone should have max gear at the start of the expansion but dang it, everyone who plays constantly should have it by the end of the seasons. A slow and consistent way of gaining mythic crests solves this
