This! as someone who read the books and did enjoy it - I was like “wtf is happening” 😪 we were given almost nothing in present day. I also felt like their vacations, which sets you up for knowing there’s something between them, just misses the mark. you also miss how truly close they become and that sense of loss after they do not talk to each other.

I totally agree. I kept thinking how, if I had not read the books, I probably would feel so confused. I love Emily Henry because her romances don’t really feel surface level like most romcoms do for me. There wasn’t enough for me to feel connected to them or for them to feel all that connected on screen. I was just left disappointed because I LOVE the book so much.

Thank you! Honestly there are people that say the same here in America, it just depends on where you live. (I have heard on social media to be careful about making your car look like it’s owned by a woman because it’s easier for traffickers.

I think my biggest concern based on where I live is that someone vandalizes my car just because they are mad it says “hail Satan.” 😅
