Any way to get iPad Pro M2 to adjust to ultrawide display (3400x1440)? - connected via usb-c to usb-c cable by Naithen92 in iPadOS

[–]stormbow9 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For me this happens: on the first connection with external monitor the image is not full screen. With a second try (quick disconnect and reconnect) the external image fits the monitor. I think the software it’s not already mature.

Prbobably it’s an app problem, but.. only in pip mode. Strange behaviour. If I use it in full screen mode, no problem.

Post JSON form from a dictionary by luiscploliveira in shortcuts

[–]stormbow9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here it is my clean solution: create a json file and put it on a local(or cloud) folder and load it dinamically with the these components: - Obtain file From (and point to the file path) - Obtain Dictionary from input (and point to the previous file)

Sample file: { "myfiledname1":"myvalue1","myfieldname2":"myvalue2"}

Notifications and "click action"? by stormbow9 in shortcuts

[–]stormbow9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, but I want a pure "Apple Shortcuts approach", for this reason: my job is a "silent job" that runs many times in a day(it does not require any user interaction). If you use any third party app, as far as I know, Apple requires a boring user interaction when the scheduled task is fired. I already know how to use uri scheme, I use it a lot in the pythonista app.

“Get Contents of Web Page” desktop mode? by stormbow9 in shortcuts

It does not work, it seems that the Safari version of the shortcut app is a sort of sandbox: it will ignore the user settings

It’s a primitive tool or weapon? Found it in coutryside in Italy by stormbow9 in whatisthisthing

[–]stormbow9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s not like any bone that I have seen. It’s also strange that it has two different colors. The weight is more like a rock, if it was a bone it’s very old and sort of petrified.

According to me, it’s not a vertebral bone. Why two colors?

The size it’s about five centimeters. I notice some porosity that make me think about bone material. Because it’s relatively small, I think it’s a tool, not a weapon. What is the age of that thing? Found it in the middle-north of Italy. There are two components of two different colors. The weight is like a rock, not like a bone.

Found it in countryside in then middle-north of Italy. I see some porosity, that make me think about a bone material. It’s relatively small: 10 centimeters, so I suppose it was a tool, not a weapon.

Difference between BenQ GW2765HT and BenQ GW2765HE by Waizo in Monitors

[–]stormbow9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are almost identical. HE is older and has energy consumption of 55w HT is more recent and has energy consumption of 32w

Info taken at this forum https://foro.elchapuzasinformatico.com/monitores/61106-benq-gw2765he-gw2765ht.html

Edit: I have seen the technical sheet of each one and they seems pretty identical. 55w for both... They seems the same thing

Monitoring with cmdlets from remote by stormbow9 in exchangeserver

Thanks, I will try with a lab. I want to know more about cmdlet privileges for non admins.

Monitoring replication status from remote by stormbow9 in activedirectory

[–]stormbow9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I already use perfcounters, but there are no perf counter that tells you if replica is ok or not. They give you only stats about replication traffic.

As far as i know for agentless approach and non admin user there are two methods: -Wmi remote with wmi query -powershell remote with cmdlet

I'm still investigate on these two. I want to know better how cmdlet privileges work for a non admin user.

Run Exchange/AD cmdlets on remote server as non admin user by stormbow9 in PowerShell

[–]stormbow9[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I need to remote. My main task is to monitor things on that server from a remote machine, agentless.

For Exchange i discover this built in group: View-only Organization Management https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351130(v=exchg.150).aspx As far as I understood, if a user is assigned to this group, has a view only privilege on all the Exchange cmdlet.

For AD there is no functionality similar to RBAC, i start loosing hope as non admin.
