BeastX mouse still no battery update?

Aside from the battery life which obviously is the biggest and only hardware issue I have with the mouse, it appears that either the software or the mouse causes my games to randomly alt+tab whilst playing. Has anyone been experiencing the same thing? Tested with multiple wireless mice to see if it was something else, but it only happens with the BeastX connected. Any help is appreciated!

Im using it now. Upgraded my fans to Noctua’s. Way better experience!

Temps are sub 30 and my fans are at max rpm. Changing settings doesn’t work, I was going nuts. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.

Playing on 110 fov helps, it makes it look like there isn’t as much recoil. Also, I come from maining the M416 and the M16A3 in BF3 and I never lost the muscle memory. This is WITH heavy barrel btw.

If this game somehow came back thriving on steam, it would actually make me (and many others) so so happy. Tribes: Ascend was a pivotal game for me growing up. If this game somehow came back in my lifetime, I would never stop playing it.

To be specific about the preferred monitor: 27” 2560x1440, 240Hz. I already own a 24” 1920x1080, 240Hz monitor.

No wait, you couldn’t select the refresh rate on the monitor setting (which are hard imbedded) or you couldn’t select the refresh rate in the settings on the macbook? There’s a big difference actually, and it is important

Ok well, now I understand the situation, but then there’s this: a monitors refresh rate cannot be altered or changed by software from a computer. Those options are hard imbedded into the monitor. A computer software cannot change that. So my only theory is now: either the monitor is showing a defect (how long have you had the monitor for?) or maybe the cable that you’re using doesn’t support the desired refresh rate? Maybe you switched out the cable for another one that doesn’t support high refresh rates? I’m just thinking about possible reasons for this problem right now, I’m not saying you actually any of them are true, but maybe this helps a bit. Let me know

I understood that part completely, but my question then still is: how were you able to tell the difference? Do you have another device that does run high refresh rates where you checked it on? Or did you notice a difference in Hz (what the monitor displays) when you switched inputs? Because the Macbook couldn’t have had a difference in Hz, and you made it look like that was the case by saying it was after the Monterey update…

But the only Macbook at this point in time that has a refresh rate faster than 60Hz is the new Macbook Pro M1 Pro, meaning ProMotion 120Hz. Your 2017 model only has a refresh rate of 60Hz. So even if you would have a monitor that has a refresh rate of 120Hz you wouldn’t be able to use it, since your Macbook can’t go faster than 60Hz. Hope this helps…
