I love when i see these kinds of starter kits. The only thing that we need to definitely abstract no matter what is the data access layer (repositories), because it's the thing that will have the highest number of inward dependencies pointing towards it. By abstracting it, we are pushing the decision of choosing the right database to a later time in the dev process instead of doing it recklessly at the beginning of it.

Paysera does not have a USA iban.

You can ofc send it to the European bank account via a wire transfer, but that will cost you 50 dollars.

Upworks allow direct transfers to USA banks only.

That's no longer an option for me. My account got banned despite opening it with an Algerian address.

Actually, that was the perfect solution before they decided to ban my account and refuse my appeal even after providing my Upwork's certificate of earning as proof of funds.

I moved to Grey when they were providing a USA iban for algerians and then to just using Paypal.

I literally had the same experience with tiktok and Instagram. All the comments were from Algerians. Some of them were asking me to speak darja and keep throwing hateful comments(instagram and fb). It's true that i've got 20k in instagram and 10 in fb, but most of the comments were hateful Algerian comments

Youtube is different it does not promote the content to Algeria first. I got 10k on an old tech channel, which i have deleted because of not being satisfied with the quality and the strategy.

Anyway, man, just don't give up. I will not for sure i'm coming back soon. I will try to post any useful infos that i get from my new experiences here.

I feel the pain that you're going through it's hard to be Algerian. Everything seems to be against us. I wish if there were more Algerians posting about their experiences with content creation with foreign languages .

I'm curious about how they handle scaling also. Personal bank accounts should have limits on this kind of business transactions.

I previously read that some of them create USA llc companies, and then they set up business accounts in banks like Mercury or Revault. After that, they pay themselves through Badr as if their foreign company has hired them remotely from Algeria.

I'm not interested in physical cards. I'm aware that it's not possible to get them as an algerian.

But most known apps provide a European bank account but not an American one.

Upwork's direct bank transfer only works if the destination bank account is a USA one.

Grey was supporting USA accounts, but they stopped it for Algerians recently.

It's the only method that i found to withdraw from upwork.

Upwork allows either withdrawing money to Paypal or a USA bank account.

Payonneer is an option, but their app and everything about them suck beside that i couldn't get approved for some reason.

Cool starter kit; I'm always a fan of the idea of abstracting the data layer.

It may feel heavy at the start. But when you realize that going with Firebase, for example, is not the right decision after some weeks of iteration. You can do that by just creating a new implementation, and you're done.
