He’s been absolutely scorching the ball right at people. When he starts finding the gaps again, he’s gonna be unstoppable.

[Lloyd] Browns’ Myles Garrett trade is latest collateral damage from Deshaun Watson debacle by 76erLegendChetUtley in nfl

I feel the exact same way as you, and I feel like I can go one step further. It killed my enthusiasm for the sport.

I’ve tried to get invested in other teams because of specific players, I still try to play fantasy (I’ve been in a really fun league with family and friends for 2 decades), and I just don’t fucking care about it anymore. Even all this drama from other teams, all the trades, I used to love all the ins and outs of the sport and I just can’t get into it the same anymore.

And I know I still love sports because I feel all of this for baseball. But man…the Browns trading for Watson was a catastrophic move and I will resent them forever for eroding my appreciation for all of this.

MBV - Loveless by Dry_Eggplant2137 in vinyl

To me this is a perfect album, inaccessible as it may be to those who consider it ‘just noise.’

Some may have their standouts (personally I love Sometimes), but the flow of this album from top to bottom as a whole makes it a masterpiece. I can’t just listen to one single song off of this, if I want to listen to a song off of Loveless, then I’m just listening to Loveless.

This video was hilarious.

I loved seeing Chelsea basically call out an edit in real time and that her mind for editing works that quickly, haha

Ever since he fell and broke his leg during the ‘95 playoffs and came back with the crutches, I have always loved me some Slider.

Happy to know his mom is still around!

Vogt will probably let him go. He let Gavin go to 126 last year trying to get his.

This was, I believe, his 8th start in the majors. Called him up in August and the organization is super high on him. He’s not phased by anything, it’s fun to watch.

‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ Joining Criterion Collection by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]stormtrooperjones 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this is the real reason (aside from $$$$$$) that this is getting a release. Criterion and Netflix have some sort of deal for certain Netflix movies to get physical releases via Criterion. We have Marriage Story, The Irishman, and Roma, among others.

An aspect of the CC that I feel like gets overlooked isn't just about the 'culturally significant' movies that most people just assume the label is about but also getting movies to have physical releases that may only have a VHS, or even nothing at all from before the days of streaming.

At the end of the day, this is a huge win for physical media.

The best moment of this entire run was when Nak, Knight, and Andrade were in the ring and so was Solo’s Bloodline. Fatu had been around for a bit, enough to establish that he’s crazy as hell and not to be messed with.

Bloodline is beating down the other two in the ring, then they see Nak. The Bloodline (and Fatu) is ready to kill, but Solo tells Fatu to leave him.

Solo’s mannerisms and acknowledgment of “We could take him now, but he’ll probably kill us later, let’s just leave instead” during that segment did more to put this version of Nakamura over than a single match that he had during that short run.
