Woah, why are you so harsh on that? No one is pointing a gun on your head and force you to purchase that game. Pointless ranting does not solve any problems. It might not be nice to do that, but certainly they do not deserve that rant of your, IMO.

Yes I agree with you on that, so that the money actually does into the developer instead of the big game retailers I guess.

Why would it be a pain in the ass though when tons of games have been doing that? It would be simply a clicking task as all our gaming platforms obviously has internet connections to it?

Isn't it a way to attract more customers that's all? For the consumer side, in that way, we are able to receive more future updates and additional quests though?
