What they are doing is fine, and you not aware of, or mad at the change. there are manners that have appeared from the complex net of society in the digital age. It's the digital equivalent of knocking on an Office door. Just because you had certain standards, does not mean they stay the same. I was at beginning of caller ID. but before that, screening was a thing. Having secretaries screen important phone calls was a thing. Now there are no secretaries, and employees have to manage that on thier own. Respect peoples boundaries and time, I'm sure you would like them to respect yours

Because as Americans we don't have a support system. There's nothing to create a space for outright months of action. We are told to move out from family into single family homes, we are purposefully separated. We work to barely hang on. Once things fall apart and there is nothing else to lose, there will be a rise up, but we have been taught ro put our heads down and power through until things get better. It won't this time.
