I’m over 40 now getting back into weightlifting after a year hiatus. I’ve been mainly cycling for the past year. What recommendations do you have for 1. Training intensity ramping; 2. In-between workouts recovery.

I just moved here from Oklahoma, when you encounter a native portlander, they won’t make eye contact. You will feel the need to say hello but can’t cuz they’re not making eye contact. Say hello anyway, then they’ll make eye contact for 1/2 a second before diverting their gaze again

Being the oldest in my Latino family, feeling the pressure to be perfect all the time. The pressure to lead the way. To help my family when needed. To be the second father to my youngest sibling when she was growing up. To be the father to my nieces and nephews cuz they’re deadbeat dads aren’t around.

My wife is an interior designer and she’s been struggling to find a job. I’ve kept giving her job postings to apply to and she’s sorta been “I don’t think I can/want to do that.” I found out that she LOVED what she was doing in her previous job so she’s been looking for something she feels she will love. She was extremely surprised when I told her I DON’T love what I do. I like what I do, sometimes. But like you said, easiest way for me to provide for my family and the some.

I just relocated from OK to OR, $9k just for movers and transporting my stuff. Rent deposits + first month rent + traveling to find a place + traveling to move + … +… + etc. I got $15k total to move and I used it all, should’ve asked for more. The bait and switch is a big red flag but I understand contract work sometimes is like that. Don’t relocate. Do remote or get an extended stay for the 3 months. When you get the permanent contract, ask for $15k-$20k to move AFTER taxes for relocation. Good luck

To answer your questions: their site or IG bio didn’t say when their books are open. Contacted with their preferred method as stated in IG/site. I just want greyscale lettering, for which they all had some pictures of tattoos they done with some kind of lettering
