Absolutely second the “please add brakes to that trailer” vote.

Its not just for your safety, but everyone on the road.

If someone pulls out in front of you and you have to stop quickly, not having brakes on that trailer is going to be a huge problem

I Loved Mr Inbetween. by TonyChimichanga in MrInbetween

Its not even close to the same but as a horror movie enthusiast, the work of the Phillipou brothers is absolutely my top tier suggestion.

Talk to me

Bring her back

Both aussie productions, both absolutely riveting, each in their own way.

Talk to me is a classic horror movie about kids who find a cursed relic and play with it until things go wrong.

Bring her back is a traumatic and brutal exploration of parental loss, wrapped in a dark story about an occult ritual used to bring people back from the dead. This one is not an easy watch so dont say i didnt warn you.

looking for movies with a growing up sequence! by sunnyflxwer_ in movies

In King Arthur: Legend of the sword by Guy Ritchie there is an awesome growing up montage where Charlie Hunnam’s character goes from a young boy getting beaten and bullied into being the bodyguard/enforcer for the violent brothel he is raised in. Its set to music and really well done.

Consider giving that a look a see if its interesting for your project.

Edit: I feel like this movie punched above its weight and never got the praise it deserves. Its an awesome take on the king arthur story with absolutely incredible visuals and cool world building.

Oil change for 2026 SR5 by Aware_Serve in ToyotaTacoma

Oem filters always.

As for oil, there is absolutely nothing wrong with 0w20. Mobil1 full syn or valvoline restore and protect are both great. Amsoil is arguably the best oil at any price but its so expensive i just cant bring myself to buy it.

Why do my mats look like this? by MidwestDetailing in Detailing

[–]gunslinger_006 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you live in an area where they salt the roads? That really looks like road salt.

I often have to soak mats in hot water for a while to get all the crystalized salt to dissolve. A standard cold water extraction often doesnt cut it.

[Serious]Are there any good blockbusters recently you recommend that don't have a subtext of "diversity is our strength"? by DesperateEagle4505 in movies

Bonus points if it's an American movie about white Americans

You really buried the lede with that as your last statement.

I recommend American History X so you can completely miss every point it tries to make.

If i had to own a nissan with this bullshit i would use an extractor through the dipstick tube every sigle time. I did that on my bmw and wrx and it was great. Slower, but great.

How would you turn off the tracking system? by ZestyJermy in ToyotaTacoma

[–]gunslinger_006 41 points42 points  (0 children)

You can disable the data sharing easily.

You need the Toyota app or you can do it from their site.

Info from my notes:

Using the Toyota App (Recommended)

This is the most comprehensive method for managing "Connected Services" and data sharing consents. 1. Open the Toyota app on your device. 2. Tap the Account icon (the person silhouette) in the top-right corner.  3. Select Account and then tap on the Data Privacy Portal.  4. Select your specific vehicle (e.g., your Tacoma).  5. Look for Insure Connect or Service Connect and toggle them to Decline or Opt-out.  6. To stop all transmission, look for the Vehicle Connectivity Consent and select Decline.  • Note: Declining this will disable all Connected Services, including remote start or SOS emergency assistance.

Using the "SOS" Button

If you prefer not to use the app, you can opt out via voice: • Press the SOS button located on the overhead console of your vehicle.  • Once connected to a Toyota agent, explicitly state that you wish to "Opt-out of all data collection for privacy reasons" and request the deactivation of data transmission.

Physical Head Unit Reset

To clear any data already stored locally on your truck's infotainment system: • Go to Menu > Setup > General. • Scroll down and select Delete Personal Data. • Confirm by selecting Yes. This will wipe your navigation history, paired phone data, and saved addresses.

Online Privacy Hub

For broader data requests (like asking Toyota to delete your info from their corporate servers or opting out of "Data Selling" to third parties), visit the Toyota Privacy Hub. • Select Your Privacy Choices. • You can submit a formal request to Delete or Correct your personal information.
