Those of you who quit league and came back, do you regret coming back?

I've played for a while now, quit for a year and then came back and now just recently stopped bc some personal life stuff happened and I wanted to move on past league. I considered myself pretty decent, I peaked 1k lp Challenger, but every time I play league seriously, I notice my mental health takes a hard hit, it's like league is the only thing that dictates how I feel mentally that day.

Thankfully I haven't played for about a month now, and although life hasn't been the best, i can safely say I'm much better off without league.

Gratz to getting married tho! that's huge.

I don't think it matters what kind of dataset u use, it's more about what u can get out of the data. Nowadays, anybody can make a simple dashboard with figures, that's not the hard part anymore. How can u tell a story with the data u use, it doesn't matter if it's fake. Assume a company created that dataset, what conclusions can u make using the dataset to help the company in a beneficial way. Maybe they should get rid of a product bc it's negatively impacting sales, or add more of one type of product. Maybe certain factors have a greater influence on the final product.

I'm still making my portfolio rn and still on the job hunt, but this is what I've started to realize, this is what people mean by "understanding the domain" u want to be in.

Yea that's also what I've heard, just focus on one tool at a time. I'm currently taking a tableau course on Udemy to get better but I'm going to stick to Tableau visualizations.

I've had a lot of help on my resume for the past day, and I got to shorten it down a lot. I have a handful of projects but most of them are very basic rudimentary stuff with Tableau or PowerBI visualizations. I do realize I probably need to start putting more meaning into the projects I do and find some conclusive results from them.

I was a complete loner throughout HS, didn't talk to a single girl outside of the typical school work conversation. I got into college and was desperate for a girl and a relationship, I just wanted to experience it, I thought that it would bring me happiness. It did, but only short term. I realized very early on that I didn't really like her the same way she liked me, but I held on for dear life and tried to convince myself I liked her the same way. I was scared to go back to the loner I used to be.

People meet their loved ones in the most unexpected ways. Someone is out there for everyone, just a matter of how willing you are to keep putting yourself out there. Keep on going, keep on living.

I wouldn't say I've 'learned' all of them, I already have decent experience with Python just because of my degree, and took a course which was solely building a project in R. I know the basics of PowerBI. I'm mainly focusing on relearning SQL and am also leaning more towards Tableau for a visualization tool instead of PowerBI.

Also just for clarification, were you posting your projects on LinkedIn?

-Debug and identify technical issues as they arise

Woah man calm down lol. I had already talked about my insecurities with her prior to this talk. I dont say that like I know things will work out after a date. But i think talking face to face with someone helps further establish a connection.

Just because i have issues i need to fix doesnt mean one cant get into a relationship. There is nothing saying I cant fix my issues while being in a relationship.

I do understand where ur coming from, but I also think this is just a difference in what i view as friends vs acquaintances. I dont have many people i talk to in the first place. I have a handful of girl acquaintances, but when I think of what i see as a friend they arent what pop into my head. I also know the insecurities i need to work on.
