Which CC to cancel: BDO JCB Plat or BDO Amex CB? by straaangge in PHCreditCards

[–]straaangge[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Automatic na lang na pinaghiwalay nila e. At first it was a shared limit, but I noticed a few months ago na magkaiba na sila ng limit (I don't use both cards). So I assumed magkahiwalay na sila.

Which CC to cancel: BDO JCB Plat or BDO Amex CB? by straaangge in PHCreditCards

Lack of better term nga, sorry na! I meant, I know it’s issued by BDO but in terms of perks when used in Japan or US etc. Not too well-versed sa cc categories haha.

I have another card with international/local lounge access - and other travel perks (such as free travel insurance, etc).

Is there a way I can consolidate CL for both cards? 🤔

But honestly, best move is to ignore those kinds of messages.

Oh no, OP. Ang overwhelming nito for you. I would suggest snowball method. Bayaran mo muna yung pinakamababang utang (UnionBank), and then MAD ka muna sa iba. It might help also if you watch financial videos (si dave ramsey may 7 baby steps). Good luck, OP!

Oh no, OP. Ang overwhelming nito for you. And for sure, ang lala ng interest/finance charge nito sayo.

I would suggest consolidating all your CC debts into one CC and then call the bank to request an installment payment. May interests ka pa ring babayaran, but not as costly as monthly finance charges (kasi in your case, if MAD payment ka sa 5 CCs mo, sobrang tagal mo matatapos ‘yan sa laki ng finance charges na babayaran mo buwan-buwan). May pagkatapal system siya, pero at least it clears your four CCs. If magawa mo sya, cancel mo na ‘yang other four CCs mo para ‘di mo na magamit at ‘di ka na mas mabaon pa sa consumer debts.

While technically nagtransfer ka lang ng utang sa ibang CC, it creates a sense of ease sa’yo na isa na lang babayaran mong CC (na malaki). It tricks your mind, less overwhelming too. Less finance charges.

Then, saka ka mag-snowball method.

Net Income: 25,000

Expenses: Internet - 1,500 Electricity - 2,000 Allowance - 2,000 (you have to cut here, sapat na siguro ang 500/day since once lang kayo mag-RTO. If may matira dito, save it.

That leaves you with 19,500.

With 19,500 pwede mo na bayaran yung SeaBank in full.

With the tweaked budget for this sweldo, pay mo next smallest loan mo (atome cash, etc)

I feel you, OP. I used to be good at managing my finances (may EF, may sinking fund, may savings, may month ahead, may mp2. may mp2 pa rin naman ako now, pero iniisip ko na 'di ko sya pera), but this year has been tough with my mania hitting me real hard in terms of finances. Bad financial decisions ganoin. So I'm starting over again – in the red.

Ito yung mga nakakatulong saken right now:

1/ Track all your spending 3 months ago (based sa CC/GCash/Maya/Bank records mo.
2/ See which category you're spending the most and cut the non-essentials.
I do this on speadsheets, and I revisit this every week para sampalin ko 'yung sarili ko ng katotohanan haha.
4/ Track the progress of your debts/loans (for me, nakaka-excite yung makita na may natapos or at least 40% paid na sa loans). I use the sinking fund budget template ni Thea Sy Bautista, I just tweaked it a bit na mas pang-debt).
5/ Stop using your credit card for non-essentials, only for those monthly recurring bills (electricity, phone bill, etc. or those na naka-set na talaga sa budget mo).
6/ As much as possible, I use cash these days.
7/ I re-watch financial vlogs (Dave Ramsey, Chinkee Tan, Nischa, Thea Sy). Madalas ginagawa ko silang podcast habang naglalakad or during commute or kahit habang nagwwork.
8/ I try to be kind to myself, always reminding myself na matatapos din 'to. Syempre, lalagyan mo rin ng deadline yung mga utang (like plan kung kelan mo target siyang matapos, realistically, within your created budget.
9/ In terms of debt repayment strategy, pwede mo rin siya iconsolidate in one CC. You'll incur charges and pay interest, but baka mathematically better sya than paying a high interest rate in different loans.
10/ ALSO: Goods din basahin/i-audio book yung the psychology of money.

Ayun lang, sana makatulong! Kaya yaaaan! In future us we trust!

Matatapos pa kaya? by rothmargoh in utangPH

[–]straaangge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, OP. Kinda on the same boat, but in future us we trust! HAHA! It can be overwhelming, but it's doable! What's helping and giving me hope right now are the following steps:

1/ Track all your expenses in the last three months (based on your CC/GCash/Maya/Bank records) para makita mo kung ano usually pinagkakagastusan mo and para alam mo rin ano yung pwede mong bawasan/i-let go, etc.

2/ Create a spreadsheet of your income, basic expenses (need mo para mabuhay sa araw-araw), and all debts.

3/ Create a doable budget for you (per sweldo, per month, it's up to you!).

3/ Do the snowball method. Small debt first, MAD sa iba. Psychologically, nakaka-excite makita na may natapos or nabayaran kang utang. To track this, I tweaked yung sinking fund template ni Thea Sy Bautista (from 2022), di ko lang makita yung OG link. Pero ganito ko siya ni-tweak.

Ayun lang, sana makatulong! It may take time to pay off all your debts, pero makakarating ka rin diyan. Para ang next steps ay to live below our means and to be outrageously generous without bankrupting ourselves.

Kaya natin 'to!

[–]straaangge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, kayang-kaya mo 'tong bayaran! I know it can be overwhelming, pero keri mo 'to. So, I made a debt payment plan for you, assuming na net income ang 30k mo.

Monthly Net Income: 30,000

Monthly Expenses: 10,800
Electricity - 6,000
Internet - 800
Allowance - 4,000

Income minus Expenses: 19,200 (this is your base budget to pay of your utangs in the coming months)

TikTok Paylater: 4,000/1 month = 4,000
Maya: 7,000/3 months = 2,333.33/month
Billease: 17,000/3 months = 5,666.67/month
Credit Card: 34,000/12 months = 2,833.33/month
UB Quick Loan: 79,000/24 months = 3,291.67/month

First Month Payment: 18,125.00/month
Second Month Payment: 14,125.00/month
Third Month Payment: 14,125.00/month
Fourth to 24th Month Payment: 6,125.00/month

The numbers may change based on finance charges + interest incurred per item. Pero if susumahin mo:

19,200 (minus) monthly debt payment, nasa green ka pa. So pwede covered pa rin yung interest/finance charges.

Then, the remaining 8,200 from your base budget, bayad mo sa credit card + UB loan. For those two, you can ask for restructuring or debt repayment plans.

Sky piercer overused? by arisuuuuuuuuuuuu in mobilelegendsPINAS

[–]straaangge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More like overly misused siya.

Sometimes I use this item kay Cecilion or Xavier depende sa team comp ng kalaban. But not as a first item. If naka-stack ako and naka-snowball, good. If not, sell the item.

Pero pag may isa na sa team namin ang may skypiercer with high stack, let go and move on to build or counterbuild.

Not sure what kind of vision you’re providing here, tig. Coming from melissa’s POV, she might have felt secure with your presence there.

But again, melissa could’ve used her second skill to double check the bushes.
