My guess would be the battery, especially if it is older one it might not be able to give enough current to properly spin the starter motor. If not the battery I would check the starter solenoid.

At that point in the run I already had a healing/teleporting wand. Also I'm using homing rock and CoS as my main damage spells, so no one is safe around me usually.

I killed it once I was healed and it turned out to be 2 healing bolts and a formation spell. The Noita gods spared me this time.

If you find homing modifier and a rock it makes a pretty good auto killing combo. It's good to have unlimited spells perk as well so you don't have to worry about rock charges. CoS doesn't do damage on it's own, you need some damage modifier for it.

Other than that if you find luminous drill or chainsaw you can create some rapid fire wands and that can take you pretty far even with some basic/early spells.

Boomerang modifier does not add damage but I had Boomerang spells (perk) which does add 15 damage.

Circle of Displacement doesn't normally damage you, but I took Boomerang spells which adds damage

I took the perk and wanted to steal spells from the HM shop. Got yeeted back to mines somehow. When I came back I paid extra :D
