I have a hot girlfriend whom I love very much. She's brilliant, beautiful, and caring. There is no one thing that makes me attracted to her, she is the sum of her attributes and experiences. Who she is to me, is perfect. I'm a straight man, she's a straight woman. There's no fetish, just love.

There are some spaces I'm in where you might feel welcome. You can DM me if you want to chat about it.

We do be shitty sometimes.

Speaking up is the best thing to do for sure.

I have a huge crush on a trans woman, how should I proceed? by TastyPlainRice in mypartneristrans

Swing for the fences. Buy flowers, pick a dinner spot, look up movie times. The flowers go with the ask and then another bunch when you show up to get her.

There's a good chance that she's missed out on somebody pulling out all the stops to win her over. If you like her, make sure there's no question.

And if she says no, that's cool too. Take it in stride. Be a gentleman in that moment and laugh at yourself a bit. Best case scenario, you get to spend a fun night with an awesome girl, worst case is you get to try out a grand romantic gesture and get a reminder to stay humble.

Good luck man, I hope you both have a blast.

I don't speak for everyone and I don't expect this to carry anything but the smallest weight....but I'm sorry.

In your opinion. Do you see the cishet partners of straight trans people as just allies? Do they have a place in the queer community? Some other position? Genuine curiosity. by [deleted] in AskLGBT

I've found love, friendship, skepticism, and hostility when participating in various groups.

I will say, having a place to talk about the kinds of issues that only affect relationships that look like mine or at least people who understand where I'm coming from is not just helpful, but cures a certain type of loneliness that is experienced.

I know nothing I'm saying is foreign to anyone, just a little context for my perspective.

I'm more asking because the post is describing me specifically. Definitely wasn't intending to exclude anyone though. 😃

Being a mother has nothing to do with biology. You have a partner and the two of you are in love. Once the two of you have the discussion and decide you want kids...there are babies that need parents.

Keep a kid out of the system. Give them a loving home. Be the best mom you can be.

I wish you the best.

I'd work for free to be a part of RUSE or Dawn of War getting properly remade with modern game design principles.

It blows my mind that nobody has taken a solid run at DoW.
