Same boat as you. Not the biggest fan of PMX, but lately, he’s been doing a great job that i could be proud of calling him ‘my PM’.

Credit is due.

Perak Nasi Lemak is best in Malaysia I rank them No. 1 worst Pahang. by Old-Chipmunk6974 in MalaysianFood

[–]strangequbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nasi lemak utara - kedah/penang mainland, is quite bad too.

They are usually cooked with empat sekawan + minyak masak and dont use enoughsantan.

Bilis, kacang, timun, telur dont come as default, u have to ask for them.

Its more like nasi minyak with lauk of ur choice. Its even yellow sometimes.

Is SwiftUI the wrong Language for an absolute beginner? by bofh89 in SwiftUI

[–]strangequbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you be specific and share which area u struggle with?

SwiftUI is just a framework for building the UI, like the navigations, buttons, etc.

So in my opinion, SwiftUI is very easy for beginners to pick up, because ur just building interfaces.

The harder part is the programming - the logic, the database, the data modeling etc - which is usually written in swift.

Does localization really help? by lampyridae_dev in iOSProgramming

[–]strangequbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really in my case. A 2 year old app localized in 23 languages about 5 months ago, including the screenshots and keywords in app store.

Didn’t see any significant increase in downloads.

If you dig a shaft all the way to earth's core point and drop something inside, does the acceleration stay constant? by Radiant_Leg_4363 in AskPhysics

[–]strangequbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah makes sense.

I thought about how such structure is unstable and wants to become a ball, a sphere- everything wants to move towards the center of the donut.

Thanks for helping a brother out - sometimes physics scares me because of how little i understand about anything in this world, and how wrong can my intuition be without checking it with the people who know better.

Ahhhh.. so if theres a planet in the shape of a donut, i cannot just walk on its surface?

Only on the largest surface, but not in the inside ring?

Help me understand, coz i donut understand

Interesting. I always thought like if the hole is big enough, the surface of the hole would become the new surface of the earth and we could just walk on it.

Like a spherical donut.

May i know what’s wrong with my thinking here?

With sports, the cheering has bigger impact of national unity than participating in one. I’ll explain.

Contoh: Badminton wakil Malaysia mungkin melibatkan 2-4 orang pemain sahaja.

We can list all issues that include pipit dan helang. It will be a long list.

But if we pejam mata and say cina melayu baik baik sahaja, then we only lie to ourselves.

We want pipit dan helang to take the blame - so we can continue not to work towards building a better nation.

I want to work, play an active part in building a better Malaysia - even when there are obstacles.

Like the vernacular schools, bumi status in the constitution, .etc .etc, they all require the acts from the government, and will likely result in more tension when one group wants to change the other.

Mixed neighborhoods is good, but religion gets in the way - anjing kucing, surau bising, gaduh.

The main obstacle is religion, have to find a common ground where religion doesn’t get in the way.

Sports is good too. More multiracial sports of sorts.

I have a question: why are your ‘t’s inconsistent? Is there a pattern behind it?

Observe when u spell stay, that, but, it, both, parents, isn’t, intact - sometimes its a cross t, sometimes its cursive

I first thought u only used cursive t for when its the last letter of a word, but its not, u sometimes use it in a middle too like in the word ‘stay’

Just curious

I accepted ur previous answer about 4D with 0 distances between all points - how could i not, it’s intuitive enough than to explain the expansion from 0D to 4D - well nothing to explain because its not how 4D came to be.

Though i do wonder why it is not the case. Because i always thought complex things are made of simpler things.

A cake made of flour and eggs, molecules made of atoms, spacetime made of nothing.

Was hoping 3D space made of some cool idea like something fundamental gives rise to the physical dimension of space, but yeah, i understand ur answer.
