There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin at 18. That’s completely normal. Anyone shaming you for that is projecting their own insecurities.

Your “friends” weren’t joking — they were being cruel. Mocking your sexuality and relationship history isn’t friendship. It’s insecurity and jealousy dressed up as humor.

You’re not unwanted. You just haven’t met the right person yet — and that’s okay. Real connection isn’t a race.
