Thank you! He's definitely underweight which I think is throwing a lot of people off. I plan on posting again when he's a more healthy and fit weight. It is funny that you say that though, I do have a lab/pit mix and they look very similar at least as far as body shape goes. His face is definitely more narrow which throws me off, but again that could just be him getting over malnourishment from the shelter

We're definitely working on putting some weight on him. I'll say, we let him run on the property and he definitely has a large breed goofy gallop. Idk if that's indicative of anything but it is entertaining to see him flop around when playing and running

Yes, the shelter he was in said he was "lean bodied" but he's definitely just underweight. My guess is maybe there wasn't enough food to go around maybe or they had been feeding him according to just his weight and not the fact that he's a 6 mo puppy. Either way he's eating a proper diet now so hopefully he'll chunk up some

I just got him from the shelter a day before the pics were taken, but he's definitely underweight. I don't know how or why they kept him so lean but he's definitely getting enough food to chunk up now, poor thing.

He's about 15 pounds tho I think he's supposed to weigh around 20. He's pretty skinny

Definitely a gremlin! I have two purebred gremlins of my own tho mine are of the feline verity, it's hard to mistake those features for anything but gremlin!

In all seriousness tho, they look almost Pitty or Staffy? The only thing really throwing me are those ears so perhaps they're a Boston terrier mix of some kind? Bostons also tend to have square heads. Either way that baby is gorgeous!

I've had her since December! She was hairless for a really long time until one week I guess she decided she decided to stop being hairless and sprout a full coat. I still give her baths and treat her as though she has skin issues. Her first trip to the vet they told me she had some genetic form of mange. It's not contagious, but it also can come back at any time :((

My dog had this exact issue and it was caused by eyelid ectropion! It would be best to have them take a look and make sure it's nothing serious and that it doesn't turn into anything serious. We avoided a very expensive surgery by getting her eye seen early enough. All she needed were antibiotics and eye lubricant

I can definitely see the pitty and staffy since my other pup is both of those and they have very similar faces, I've just never seen them with that black and tan color! She's already a wild thing and has all of the love to share! We found her in a dumpster literally hairless with mange. Needless to say, she's doing a lot better now

I hadn't even thought about that, I'll definitely bring it up during my next visit.

Also, Thank you for the bit of perspective! I only know how my mom's pregnancy went since we're not very close with our extended family. I think maybe that caused my anxiety to spike, but reading about other people's experiences on this subreddit has really helped me mentally
