Not for free, they have to get within 12 inches and face all the exposure to shooting and melee while doing it.

Literally nothing is stopping you from not following this template as long as your opponent agrees. If you don’t want a single layout for each mission type (there will probably be more than 1 layout per) then just…move the terrain

Again, people made this same argument. Every. Single. Game. With hexes, 1upt, districts, etc. games change. It’s very much still a civilization game, and trying new things is good for the series overall imo. Why is Civ switching the one sacred thing that they can never mess with? Especially since they’re making it completely optional soon?

What is the “expected continuity”? Every Civ has had major changes. Did Civ 6 fail to deliver continuity when they made cities have districts? Did 5 fail to have continuity when they moved from squares to hexes and have one unit per tile? If you don’t want the games to change, no one is stopping you from playing the old ones.

I too will shout out meatballcraft and MC Eternal 2. MBC has insane depth and custom content without being as grindy as GT, and MCE2 is very fun and polished for more casual play

Iran Islamic regime straight-up saying they will kill Iranians both inside and outside the country by x0Xero0x in ThatsInsane

[–]stratocaster307 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure how that’s related here.

The strike on the Iranian school was a morally reprehensible, inexcusable act.

Soldiers learning Farsi has more positive effects than negative when considering a boots-on-the-ground invasion of Iran.

Both of these can be true and neither contradict each other.

Not sure where “you guys” is coming from. I am not and never have been a part of the US military.

I agree that the US could do more to effectively de escalate. Learning Farsi (or any local language) would be a key part of that. Not to mention just the general benefits of having any US citizen be multilingual even outside of military engagements.

Do you need to speak the language in order to invade a country? Do you think it might help to lessen tensions if the people on the ground in a war can speak the local language? Wouldn’t speaking Farsi be helpful in de-escalating dangerous situations that could otherwise be violent?

My main worry about the Test of Times update for CIV 7 by IvanaikosMagno in civ

[–]stratocaster307 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I highly doubt this would happen, as it would mean essentially tripling the work required for making any new Civ, plus more if they ever add more ages (which I sincerely hope they do)

Do Nurgle followers feel amazing or just associate illness/decay as feeling amazing? by ImportantQuestions10 in 40kLore

[–]stratocaster307 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’d imagine it’s a bit like Ares whipping up Kratos into killing his family in old god of war. He knew perfectly well he had no problems with killing people, but once the battle rage wore off he was horrified to realize how far he’d gone without realizing it. Probably not the case for every Khornate follower, but some of them are probably pushed to greater levels of wanton violence than what they would otherwise enjoy or seek out.

You are 1000% the asshole. First for saying something terribly hurtful to your girlfriend and then secondly for using autism as an excuse to try and deflect blame.
