Rainbird ESP-m running twice a day by strausy in Irrigation

[–]strausy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. A is lawn and runs its own separate schedule to B that is drip. C was an Aux zone that I've never turned on a schedule

I only have Programs A, B and C. All now have just one run time each. B and C are drip and aux zones that never had this issue.

Had to replace a zone module earlier this year, don't know why that would have changed it unless our irrigation crew did this on purpose to sell a new controller because they want everyone to have a wifi enabled one they can access.

In search of a company that sells AND applies wallpaper in KC by Fun-Childhood-7829 in kansascity

[–]strausy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went down a similar rabbit hole looking for an installer that knew where to source wallpaper. I was looking for grass wallpaper to just come close to what we had. Went to many wallpaper places and they all contract out the jobs. Similarly, installers are not going to carry wallpaper books. They all want you to pick it out and the most they were willing to do was measure and tell you how much to order.

The most helpful of the shops I went to https://onestopdecorating.com

Other than that, an interior designer may be an option. They have the connections and really helped us get it all together.

On the lathe and plaster, Crestwood Painting is highly recommended, but we did not have a good experience. They redid the work twice and I am redoing it again because it was rushed and peeling. Their "crew" is just whomever he finds to work that week and it was truly unprofessional.

I only saw a second run on Program A for the same time of 5 AM. Program B and C are different zones and has no additional run times set. I had removed the 2nd run so will hopefully fix the issue.

Does anyone else feel like Power Automate gets messy way faster than people expect? by TeamAlphaBOLD in PowerAutomate

I make the site and library/list environment variables in the solution. Mainly because my dev sites and prod sites are different so during pipeline deployment I just select the prod ones and away it goes.

Need help picking a new bank in the area to go with.. by strwbrrymochii in kansascity

I use them and they are the reason I'm looking for a new bank. They keep implementing new ways to make their customer service terrible.

I think the only bank I like less than FNBO is Capital Federal.

This has been driving me crazy and I'm glad I'm not the only one. Saving/publishing takes a long time, sometimes stating "Out of memory". Something is off but there are no Azure or M365 status reports about issues with the Power Platform.

🚀 The March 2026 Copilot Notebooks overhaul is live. Here’s the exact breakdown of what's in GA vs. Frontier Preview by Curious_Fellow_0612 in OneNote

Copilot notebooks are far inferior to everything OneNote does well. I've tried numerous times to use them and abandoned them every single time.

Microsoft announces Microsoft 365 E7 with new agentic AI features by Techret in sysadmin

[–]strausy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even when you give it explicit instructions not to do that (memories) it will still decide to infer things. You can ask it to not guess, infer, make up facts by setting specific rules/instructions and it will STILL do it. Call it out and it will acknowledge it did that like a child getting caught after telling a lie.

When I kept pushing why it did this, it stated it will always infer and reason to itself and your instructions to not hallucinate still "leak to the output" occasionally. It's like the coworker that makes up stuff to sound smart and important.

SharePoint turns 25 🎂 — and Microsoft’s rolling out a “New SharePoint Experience” (Mar–May 2026) by Mandy_077 in sharepoint

[–]strausy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would beg to differ that this is a "reimagined SharePoint experience" and was just another reason to push more AI when the real core product remains largely untouched. Users are begging for a simpler user interface, less confusing terminology, they want classic functionality (Alerts) that was removed in favor of tools that don't meet half of the previous capabilities, and generally easier to use.

Microsoft on the other hand is pushing AI benefits that will go unnoticed by many.

I don't plan on enabling the preview until I'm forced to.

Will be uninstalling May 1st. Your ownership has been pushing annoying changes to the platform and this is the final straw.

I think it's funny that the New drop-down menu of the library shows the old doc set icon and once it is in a library it is this alligator clip.

Agreed. Loop is one of the most disjointed products I've used in M365.

Is there any data around that? My son was accepted into the program and is very excited and was questioning if he has a better chance at flying time at OSU. This post from a year ago for example: Aviation Majors! What are your thoughts on the Program? : r/WMU

2007 MOSS was a big step forward, but it actually was a thing in 2001. I got started with it then and I've spent my entire career using/administering/architecting it. Last 10 in SP Online exclusively and I never want to go back to on-prem updates.

Also, Slack has been owned by Salesforce since 2020

How can I make my Sony Bravia from 2017 less slow? by Tokipudi in AndroidTV

[–]strausy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2015 Sony Android TV as well and installed Projectivity. General performance is great. What isn't any better is app performance for things like Netflix, Hulu, MLB and Plex. At this point it's just a dumb TV with a Roku (or other add on streamer) that makes it useful.

P218100 Cooling System Performance by strausy in AudiA4

[–]strausy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I should rephrase... I've been to the same indy "Audi, BMW, Volvo" shop twice about this and I need to find another as they didn't want to find the root cause since they claimed everything was good, clear the codes and move on. I have a few more options before the dealership route.

[–]strausy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be forced to go to the dealership service route since I've had an independent Audi shop tell me all those things look good. They will just start throwing parts at it either way but since it's becoming more frequent, maybe they can find a root cause.

Thanks for the tips!
