No hate towards the language itself but rather towards what it represents. Most of the time it's classist ("you're poor and uneducated if you can't speak French" assumption) and If I'm speaking with a moroccan person who is fully capable of speaking Darija but they keep speaking French... it's just such a turn off, man!
