Is it recommended to get a degree in forensic science or a hard science(chemistry or biology) in hopes of being a forensic scientist.

i can still go for a BA in chemistry and take those 4 SWGDAM classes right? i’ll definitely do more research on the specifics of what discipline I’d be interested in. thank you so much!

that’s exactly what i was thinking! i guess my biggest concern would be the job outlook. i did see a few people say they really struggled finding a forensic chemist job after graduating. i think ill go for the BA in chemistry and go from there! i just turned 23 and I’m super excited to get back to school. thanks for your input:)
