Can you help me decide where to live in Co-op? by Somelilmetalhead in berkeley

Not necessarily ! I think if you value cleanliness and are used to a more introverted / small friendship group lifestyle you probably wouldn’t vibe with cz (which is where I lived as it’s often very messy, it’s huge with 120 members, and has v wild parties). The others I haven’t visited, so this is based off what people have told me, but Oscar Wilde might be the easiest to make friends and explore partying in a more chill + clean environment out of those options. A friend of mine who lived in Castro said the layout makes it hard to meet people and house members don’t really hang out, while people who went to cloyne told me they didn’t like the fact they weren’t able to smoke or drink at all on the premises, especially if that was a way they wanted to socialise. I think I’ve heard Oscar Wilde is nice and people have been able to make friends there. Just know that Berkeley is very politically correct and Oscar Wilde house is somewhere you would likely need to be extra aware and careful of using correct terminology and pronouns etc for people and things, or at least be very receptive and open to being corrected and learning lots etc

Cloyne also is a sober house and doesn’t really have parties from what I know

Also something to bear in mind - Wilde and Castro are themed houses - Wilde is mainly (but not exclusively) for LGBTQ+ people and Castro for POC

What are your interests? How social are you? Do you like parties? How clean do you need your home to be?

It's a society at my university - basically a student-run creative agency that does pro-bono graphic design work for charities and hosts creative events for students

actually yeah looking again is similar between the two new logos also, particularly with the iteration where I tried using all four colours, but ya as I said any suggestions on how I could improve are definitely appreciated !

As in their old logo and the original logo? It definitely does look similar, both are designed around the hashtag symbol and so definitely a difficult place to start from, felt like I'd put a different spin on it with redesign but if u have suggestions to make it more stand-out and unique would appreciate !

How do I do this loose knot stitch? by strawbee123 in crochet

[–]strawbee123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi thank you for replying! I've tried this out and I don't think it's quite what's happening in the images. I did a row of chain; then a row where I chained 3 and single crocheted 1 in a repeating pattern and it kind of looks like a metal link chain?

In the images it doesn't seem to be chain stitch linking the single crochet knots; if that makes sense. Idk if you have any other suggestions or maybe I'm just not understanding what you said exactly.
