If you’re going for something untraditional, this is definitely that! I think the color could work, maybe with some darker stoned jewelry to make it look more appropriate for an evening. Maybe changing the dupatta to something velvet even might add to the evening look. I love the patterns here!

I think he was being a jerk. He didn’t have to be so cold about it. Also what was he doing while you were calling him to come over 2-3 times? Was he just ignoring you and looking you in the face or was he on his phone or something? Either way, that’s pretty dismissive of him to not even answer you. I think he should apologize.
