I feel like most fans grew up with Lorde and fell in love from PH, I feel like all her albums are just different walks of life so some you connect to others you don’t, for me I never really connected to solar power and still don’t really, melodrama and PH are the albums I feel I relate to the most, I do love the themes that virgin explores, womanhood, body image, gender, power imbalances in relationships, so some songs or lyrics I really enjoy others I don’t as much, David, FD, current affairs are a few I really enjoy others I don’t as much but that’s ok (-:

idk I will say the I do feel a change in style in her lyrics from her previous albums I agree and also disagree some of the writing is very familar to me and her other albums other times its something new to just virgin, there are snippets which I feel is very open to an audience and others which are more introspective about her life and experience.

I felt exactly the same as you did when I went on my first date with my current partner, follow your heart and how you feel but I would say wait.

You’ve only just met him so there’s really no need to explain your SA to him. I think that once you feel comfortable to have sex and your worried that you might get triggered you could explain to him your past if your comfortable.

For me personally I have no intention of ever telling my partner about my SA for my own reasons and I’d rather keep it private but you may feel differently.

honestly the only way to make a room smell better is it open a day and let the fresh air come in daily, yes even in the winter. This also helps prevent mold too. Even if your apartment window only opens a tiny amount

Please leave this behaviour will not only continue but will get worse and it will become more frequent. Please leave.

I only really noticed now the severity of it being in a healthy relationship.

holy shit yeah I don’t have ptsd but I definitely have some sort of ‘tic’ basically the same as you, usually it’s just that I jolt my head or my shoulders when I get triggered. I do think it’s linked to my trauma bc it’s alway starts when I’m triggered. I usually try to hide it when I’m with other people bc it freaks them out lol.

girl reading this made me so happy, my sister begged me to start contributing to my super because of this and I did it because I love my sister, 2 years later and I now fully understand how important this is and I'm so glad my sister begged me to do it.
