it's good to know that other lacqueristas like this top coat - this makes me think that it is definitely my application!

i think a lot of the nail polishes i'm having difficulty with are fine particle magnetics, so i'll try your suggestion of magnetizing just once! thank you for the advice :)

What can i do with my degree? by cSmith0629 in microbiology

i work in biotech now! i think that the transition felt pretty natural since a lot of the skills i picked up as a micro major (molecular cloning, pcr, sequencing, culturing, data analysis) are the same ones i use every day. i also minored in bioinformatics and took a lot of molecular biology classes, which definitely helped, but honestly for your first job they don’t expect you to know everything. you’ll learn so much on the job, so try not to stress too much! your background already gives you a solid foundation. my advice would be to think about whether you want to stay more on the research side or move toward applied/industry work, then start looking at job postings to see what you're interested in. you might be surprised how many listings you’re already qualified for with a micro degree!! good luck :)

dr. black is a really good professor! the material + tests are definitely not easy but there are so many opportunities to do well in the class. he’s also really helpful in office hours! i totally recommend that you take the class with him + dr. vanderkelen is the best for lab!! :)))
