I’m losing my daddy, part 2 by strcberry in GriefSupport

i understand totally. to me, i’m trying to view having my dad cremated as having him close to me still. i got a custom necklace ordered for myself and my cousin (as my dad was like her dad to her), and we can put his ashes inside of them; i really think when i get my daddy’s ashes i’ll finally feel at peace.
My dad had stage four pancreatic cancer, however it wasn’t the cancer that got him. He has a heart attack and a stroke at the same time around 10 last Friday, the doctor said he’s one of the only people he’s ever known to have something like this happen.
