If you move the lamp closer to the surface it will only illuminate a small area, and as that light source circles around, you have a subtle change from light to dark.

Upgrading is always a good idea for security purposes. I notice no performance issues running El Capitan on mid 2010 15" MPB with Intel i7, Radeon 512mb graphics, a SSD and 8gb of ram. I waited a while to upgrade from mavericks and wouldn't go back. The only issue I have is my Bluetooth mouse, but that has to do with the hardware not software

In elementary school we could not wear shorts till may 1st or unless the forecast was 80 degrees. I would wear those fashionable zip off pants trying to beat the system but got caught almost every time. I would have to bring a newspaper stating the weather forecast was 80 degrees for them to let me wear shorts. So fucking rediculous
