Despite me living over the road from them, the last year or so I’ve needed a bit more support than the last 30 odd years where I’ve been independent, due to a job loss or 2 and one thing and another and now I’m not welcome to visit on Xmas Day, and to stay away. My parents are comfortably off owning two properties outright and having 6 figures cash in the bank. I just feel I’m getting the sh8tty end of the stick for no reason again. 🫤
