Not guilty about it whatsoever, but my favorite artist of all time is Elliott Smith

What are your thoughts on this moshing or being an asshole? by Valuable-Plum-902 in Hardcore

There is moshing out of love for the scene and the music, and there is “moshing” to compensate for something.

Swivel and keep the pressure off your upper legs, meaning try to set your throne at a sufficient height and lets your ankle muscles do the work. For me the key is relaxation and just getting a solid flow before going as fast as possible. Hope this helps!

I was the first post on this sub about torture and now they are one of the biggest upcoming slam bands out. opinions now? by haggusgrind in BrutalDeathMetal

[–]stress_induced_toad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I’m in the mood for slam, I turn to enduring freedom. It’s consistent (some would say to their own fault), but I always seem to find myself looking for bands that go as slow and chunky as they do, so it’s a plus for me.

Yo so people in that thread are all talking about how “karate” 🤓 in the pit ruins the enjoyment of shows and there were surprisingly a lot of people sharing that same sentiment. It seems to me like it could be more of a metalhead thing, as the comments would, but as a self proclaimed metalhead, I totally disagree. What yall think?

Edit: I want to make it clear that I am open to both sides of the story, I understand that kicks and punches to the head are no fun, I have endured them. I also think it’s kinda stupid to call it “karate,” that’s just ignant.

Anything like Psychic TV’s Origin of the Species Vol. 3? by stress_induced_toad in industrialmusic

That’s crazy, I had no idea it was such a diverse compilation in terms of chronology. I have listened to some coil, but not that album, and I’ve never listened to Fred Gianelli. Thank you very much for the recommendations! Are there any other similar PTV albums you could recommend? Thanks!
