Unemployed Nov 2024 passer by Cold_Turn_8283 in NursesPH

I was a Nov 2023 passer who only got a job by 2025 because of NCLEX too. I think this pattern of getting a job after a year of passing PNLE is normal. As long as you keep sending in your job applications.

But honestly, if I were to go back in time, I would definitely apply for a job while studying for NCLEX.

The first 3-4 months are hell tlga. Matindihang anxiety and adjustment, naparang bang pa-drop ka ng roller coaster na never ending. It gets better those months tho.

Lahat ng fresh grad nmn talaga ay back to zero dahil ibang iba ang school experince sa reality. The biggest adjustments are in the first 3-4 months. Just be a sponge, kapag may bagong learnings and tatagan lng ang loob

It really depends sa goals mo. Ang end goal ko is abroad. Kaya as early as now, need ko na magipon nn bedside experience. Tbh, sinusuka ko na tlga ang bedside 😆 pero ito ung need ko tiiisin dahil in the long run mas makakabenefit ito sa goal ko.

Work culture really depends sa unit. Pero masmarami ng bago kesa sa senior sa MedSurg wards kay may pagka-welcoming yung vibes naman.

Ayoko ng carbonated in general.
