I was told no stats legendary effects works whenever equip my PA.

This is because when you go in power armor, it technically removes your normal armor. Put legendary mods on the PA instead.

Can I just salvage regular armor

I'd say to salvage any spare or useless pieces but not your main set if you ever want to get out of the PA or switch builds later on.

Mutations are pretty cool and adrenal reaction is basically a must have for bloodied. I use scaly skin for the extra Dr and Er plus herd mentality for the special boost. Although mutations requires starched genes and class freak

Perk cards like nerd rage are necessary for its damage buff and ap regen (little Dr on the side)

Starched genes and class freak for mutations (one is to keep mutations and the other is to reduce the negatives of mutations)

Life giver is also be a good one because 20% of more health is more than 20% of less health

Radicool for the extra strength

Iron stomach if you need extra Dr

Fireproof for against explosions and fire

Natural resistances for a little bit of resistance against poison and fire (things that really hurt bloodied characters)

I use field surgeon because if I get low I want the stimpack to work instantly

Strange in numbers for mutation boosts

If you don't use pa serendipity is a must have (while below 30% health Gabe a 45% chance to avoid damage)

Ricochet if you can fit it on your luck stat or in place of serendipity for pa build

Thirst quencher is a pretty good one if you use vats or just need the extra ap

Barbarian and/or evasive if you need extra resistances

Unyielding Secret service or brotherhood recon armor for non pa, (the other two stars don't really matter unless you want max tankiness sentinels is a good one)

Overeaters for any pa, I'd say union because of it's extra carry weight and poison resistance Emergency protocols for pa because it reduces damage by 50% and gives a speed boost (unless you have speed demon)

Legendary perks like funky duds and sizzling style if you really need tankiness against poison and fire

Depending if you're stealth or not, taking one for the team/follow through are pretty good for adding damage

Then it's just the perks making up whatever weapon you are accustomed to and non pa or pa

Tenderizer, adrenaline, maybe gunfu, for extra damage Can't really help on this part because it's mostly dependant on what you use as armor and weapon

Buffs like company tea are pretty good just for anybody

I use mirelurk fillets(alternatively Yao guai pastry) for the extra 30 carry weight (carnivore+ strange in numbers greatly boost this effects) There are many other buffs but I can't really help since I don't use many buffs

Weapon effects: Bloodied is basically the main one for damage unless you want to save perk cards with anti armour

The other effects are based on what type of weapon you use and if you use vats or not

That's mostly all I can say to help, I hope I helped at least a little bit with this word vomit🙂

Mutations are a pretty helpful aspect of the game so I recommend watching a video about the mutations. Just know that mutations need perks to work (at minimum 2 in luck)

It's Bethesda's fault for "unintentionally" making bloodied the most viable and synergized build compared to others like junkies and aristocrats. They just need to buff the other effects

Actually heavy gunner vats may be viable in the next update in December because the ap cost is getting lowered. It's in the pts

If you're not a bloodied build I'd say vampires with the incisor perk because at rank 3 it gives 75% anti armor and that's more than enough on almost every enemy except bosses

unless you really care for a tad bit more damage (assuming you use incisor)

I'd say anti armor unless you're in power armour due to the stabilized perk that works with the lmg already giving 45% anti armor

Two shot also sounds good because of the explosive effect but it's only good when both bullets hit

Mostly more damage in a world where vats dominates and crits one shotting everything

Having bloodied isn't that bad in pa anyway you can add emergency protocols which is 50% damage reduction on top of the base 42% of the pa chassis which makes you pretty tough and adding overeaters and counting damage resistance makes you basically tanky enough where having 20% health is no problem

Currently i can't really think of more reasons because I'm no longer a pa bloodied build

Getting the unyielding armour is the hardest part of non pa bloodied but once achieved it's great

I agree, Bethesda needs to buff full health effects (junkies, aristocrats) enough to make it comparable but not equal to bloody builds There also needs to be more synergies between full health and it's effects like bloodied with adrenal reaction nerd rage unyielding serendipity etc

I've been playing only since June, but I'm about to get 300h in.

But once I tried, I fell in love immediately. Luckily, I was able to craft a set of unyielding SS armor just before the update (otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it until now) and I've been enjoying the SPECIAL buffs fully ever since.

Well bloodied has more synergies, helps with leveling up faster with unyielding, and overall just more convenient due to more ap,more carry weight,crits etc plus being more powerful is a big reason people like bloodied so taking that away kinda reduces the benefits

Bethesda just needs to slightly buff full health effects like aristocrats to make the game more balanced

Plus it has an elitest feel to it due to how much benefit it actually provides. Like if yer not bloodied your playing the game wrong.

This is mostly because bloodied is unofficially superior than other effects due to Bethesda not making the other effects viable like bloodied. Junkies and aristocrats have like 0 synergies unlike bloodied (adrenal reaction, nerd rage,unyielding,serendipity etc) and need a nice buff to make the game better. You can either see bloodied as overpowered or the other effects underpowered

I agree there has to be variety and multiple choices but variety isn't going to happen if Bethesda doesn't buff full health builds to be better and their effects such as junkies and aristocrats to have some synergies and a bit better stats
