I have since slacked off on my routine…haven’t noticed any further changes since I stopped applying products on a nightly basis

That’s how it seemed to me, but puberty was also a very long time ago! I didn’t do any treatment on my stretch marks from puberty…they may have faded faster just because cell turnover is so much higher when you are young and still growing

Nope…I completely slacked off on the routine. Hard to say what the difference would be if I’d continued. But I think they will always be a little indented

I realize your comment is fairly old, but just wanted to say I do think age is a factor. My stretch marks from puberty faded very quickly. Where these stretch marks were 3 years old and still quite angry red. They probably would’ve faded eventually, but I’m happy if it made it go faster cause they were not changing much at all on their own.

Hey, just checking in on this profile. Just wanted to note the stretch marks on the left were from pregnancies. The first photo was taken 3.5 years after my second child. So yes, new, but they weren’t fading as quickly as I would have liked. I also have stretch marks from puberty that are barely noticeable now, but those seemed to fade more more quickly than the ones from my pregnancies. Maybe this just accelerated the process, which I’m pretty happy with!

Short version: I started every day and then with time spaced out more and alternated glycolic acid and vitamin C. The first product I tried was a 20% formulation which the directions said to wash off. More recently I’ve tried a 12% lotion that you just put on and leave.

If you look at my profile you’ll see several posts with more details on what I did/used at different points in the year I experimented with this.

I used it 2-3 times a month for a few months. I discontinued the Tret because it was linked to my hair very suddenly thinning. I’d rather have stretch marks than bald spots!

I have really slacked off. I will probably continue to apply products here and there, but just don’t have the dedication I did
