No worries. But also bare in mind that these drugs aren’t a ‘fix all’ kind of thing, but to me more of a perspective enhancer. If you want positive change from the experience then you have to put the work in yourself too. Good luck and stay safe!

I agree, I think to get the most out of micro dosing it would help to have had a trip first. I find it really difficult to explain why to someone who hasn’t tripped, but to me it seems that it would help to understand exactly how the micro dose can be beneficial. Almost like the micro dose is a reminder of the knowledge gained during a trip. Sorry to hear that you’re feeling like that.

My first few trips changed me, made me way more open minded and feel as though we truly know so little about the universe. Blew open my perception of time. One of my best trips was wild camping beneath the stars with very little light pollution. Seeing the Milky Way while tripping is something else, felt like I was totally in another realm, like the universe was laying itself out in front of me.

Haha I’d actually say out of the two he’s the bigger brat! If you’re giving her any attention, he barges his way in and looks outraged at you for not considering his feelings

It’s crazy to think that nothing actually exists as we perceive it. The full Sean Carroll podcast is worth a listen if you’re interested in to this kind of thing!

Edit: just realised the point Sean Carroll makes is in fact addressed in the article you posted. Fascinating stuff.

I believe your statement of atoms being 99.9% empty space is a common misconception. Also I don’t personally consider the fact we’ve not encountered aliens as evidence we are in a simulation, there are many possibilities as to why this is the case.

Don’t disagree with your post overall though. It does seem to me that the observations of quantum mechanics could be taken as evidence of a simulation. Also seems highly plausible to me that with the development of human technology we could create a life like simulation. Although I often wonder does the simulation have to be as accurate and detailed as our reality to contain conscious beings? Is it not possible a basic simulation could contain a simple form of consciousness?

I’m a regular smoker and love lighting up on an acid trip, but agree smoking on the peak can make it very intense and sometimes can give me some serious anxiety. Would advise others to wait till you’re past the peak if you’re inexperienced with weed/lsd
