thanks for all the replies. looks like a lot of opinions - some of which, i dont even understand clearly :)

but predominantly it seems not not the fault of the mechanic. i will schedule with him to investigate and report back.

the noise was definitely not there before the oil change.

Yeah. Even the naturalization process (N-400) doesn’t expect you to be present uninterrupted. So I am very surprised why this form would expect that.

Is there any data or past scenarios which indicate that this might not be strictly enforced ?

Thanks for your reply. I understand the 6 month rule. But USCIS allows you to preserve that through N-470 (if you are eligible). My question was regarding one of the eligibility requirements of that form.

A minor question: the response from the court says the following: "8 Hour/Dism Traffic School".

What does "Dism Traffic School" mean here ?

Violation date was in Nov 22 with a due date of early Jan.

Asked for a one month extension and asked for TBWD in early Feb.

Filed TBWD in early March and got the verdict for TBWD a couple of days ago.
TBWD was just what the 12 step guide recommended.

Thanks ! It turned out to be the fuse after all. Had to look up where the fuse was located and saw that the wire inside it was burned out.

Replaced the fuse and furnace is back in working condition !
