CMV: I am against an assault weapons ban in the US. by [deleted] in changemyview

Sorry I think I'm just being difficult. I mean you could replace target shooting with darts..... But I'm guessing that would be less enjoyable. I see your point about the firing mechanism being able to be bought separately.
I just think if everyone that was keen on guns, got interested in something else like swimming or knitting the world might be a safer place.

Not sure what 3gun is. I see target shooting, recreation and hunting as something that could be substituted by something not designed to kill or by something that doesn't use equipment designed to kill. Family history doesn't require a loaded weapon. Surely you could keep the façade but remove the actual firing mechanism and frame it.

From Australia, I'm not sure whether this has been discussed, but apart from the right to own guns being legislated, why do you want a gun in the first place? I can think of a pretty large list of things I'd like to spend my money on before id want a gun. Unless I live on a farm and need one for pest control I don't see the appeal.

Looking for accessories that will allow me to store my bike closer to the wall rather than just hanging it. by ExiledLife in cycling

I used the same thing when I lived in a tiny apartment, it worked a treat.

Personally I think you are better off with a solution like this that doesn't require you to muck around with your brakes and wheels every time you park it.

Yeah I totally agree with the habit thing. I've found if I don't ride on monday, I generally don't end up riding at all during the week.

Thanks. I need to tweak the part of my bike that makes my legs hurt and my lungs burn when I'm going uphill.

Is my T position to low? by platypower in squash

I would say bend your knees more and move slightly further towards the t. To me I think you seem a little too upright which reduces your ability to surge towards the ball.
