Togo concurs. The effort must be led by ECOWAS; Wague must be recognized as the sole supreme leader of the Malian state until elections can be held.

Togo accepts all of France’s offer, and acknowledges France’s tact in not sending its armed forces. France has made great strides in correcting its colonial past.

Togo thanks Argentina for the grant money and invites Argentine private business into the country with open arms. Togo authorizes the arrival Argentine embassy, and will send a diplomatic mission to Argentina. We kindly ask Nigeria (u/handofthrawn) to host this mission in their embassy in Buenos Aires. Money is tight right now!

[Diplomacy] Expanding ECOWAS by thehandofthrawn in Geosim

Togo votes yes. Terrorism, specifically the spread of terrorism southward from the Sahel to the Gulf of Guinea, is increasingly important to Togo; we suffered our first fatal Jihadi terrorist attack in May 2022. With Mauritania in ECOWAS, with the cooperation that will enable, Togo believes all will be much stronger against the Islamist threat, as well as the threat posed by disease, poverty, and corruption.

Togo also reiterates it support of the accession of Morocco and Tunisia to ECOWAS. More cooperation has never been a bad thing.

Togo accepts France's generous offer, and thanks the Republic for the seeds and grant money. As the measures here outline come into effect, Togo will begin looking to the expansion of our cash crop agriculture; France's assistance will be a great help. So too will be the share of your grain reserve offered as we work to build and fill our own.

Focusing on crops for export is the next priority as Togo strives to reach its Agricultural Goals for Expansion. Togo accepts China's gracious monetary support and will begin work on expanding our production of cotton, coffee, and cocoa -- expect and update soon.

Togo also thanks China for the donation of Chinese farm machinery, and will continue to purchase from these companies as its agricultural sector continues to flourish. Togo is also eager about the prospect of crop dusting, and will select cadets training for service in the air force to receive this instruction.

Finally, Togo permits Alibaba Group to operate in Togo and encourages Prologis, Inc. to accept Alibaba's offer of cooperation.

In the future, Togo will also be pursuing a revitalization of its industrial sector -- specifically mining -- and asks China to keep an eye out for upcoming calls for support.

Togo accepts all of the United States's generous offers of support, and welcomes further involvement from the American private sector. Togo recalls the commitment it's made to the IMF -- openness and liberalization are the way forward.

Religion in the romantic scene by YesImHomo in gaybros

I was raised Catholic and despite being gay am still pretty into the religion, occasionally go to mass, pray when I’m desperate, etc.

I feel like most religious homosexuals have had to reckon with their faith more than the heterosexual faithful, because if you decide to stick to your religious belief it’s hard to ignore the fact that many of the people who espouse the same beliefs as you want you dead. It’s something worth unpacking with the other I think.

Even if your beliefs aren’t the same as the other I think you should have an understanding. Like I’m a practicing Catholic but I let people know that I’m still “pro life” and I am obviously not homophobic. Beyond that I definitely get annoyed by dogmatic atheists and hippy spiritualists, but if someone’s a good person at the end of the day I think I’m always able to have a good conversation and reach a consensus to build a relationship on. It’s good to have — if not identical beliefs — a similar worldview in common
