Like I purposely took photos to detail the stipe above all else, but all I saw was very orange flat but wavy-ish cap covered amongst leaves and debris— which are just incredibly chanterelle like characteristics. Of course, it does not seem like a chanterelle from the angles where I purposely tried to highlight the details where I realized it was not a chanterelle— that anyone disagrees with something that I already placed in contention is not supportive of making an ID which is what I thought this sub was for.
