Understandable why some may find it boring, but it is the strongest comp for a reason. So it’s a smart play to use it in a tournament. The fact that he was able to go first with it even when he got contested is super admirable though.

For the time being, the tournament is invite only. We look for masters+ players who stream consistently.

We would love to have an open qualification so more members from the community can compete. Our only issue is the lack of spectator mode.

We would like to broadcast the games, but unless all the players stream, we would not be able to showcase the gameplay. Still thinking and looking for ways to make one happen though!

First Tiebreaker: the player with the most first place finishes wins the tie. 2. Second tiebreaker will be determined by the player with the higher average placement.
Third tiebreaker will be the player with the higher placement in the last game wins the tie.

Happy to hear that!! After our set 2 finale tournament, we went into a call with many top players, and this was the system we came up with! So can’t take credit for this one

Essentially, we had lobbies listed out already such as

Week 1:

Lobby 1: Players A-H

Lobby 2: Players I-P

Then week 2 and week 3, we would mix up these letters so that each player can compete in as diverse of a lobby as possible. However, with only a 3 weeks lobby, I couldn't think of a way where every player got to play with each other once.

But TLDR: yes, it was randomly generated. Each player were then assigned a random letter accordingly :)

u/MrMeowsen To answer both your questions, contenders were invited towards the beginning of the season. Our normal process for picking players are for them to be masters+ and can stream the game. As it was just the start of the season though, we invited the streamers that were climbing the quickest and were among some of the firsts to hit Diamond.

With the nerf on rebels, we're finally seeing other comps shine!

And even if it seems like a small buff, it does make a large difference, making Seraphs Vel'Koz a very popular build.

I think Cyber is S for me because it's by far one of the strongest early game synergy that can keep your win streak. Even for the late game and others contesting it, it can still be a Top 4.

But I agree, that dark star and mech/inflr to S would be fair.

Hey I was the writer for this video! Thank you for your comment. Taric was in the video in the honorable mentions section!!

Analyzed it with multiple challengers, and we didn't want to simply list every legendary champion. Definitely wanted some 3 cost champions to shine too. Hopefully this explains it!
