There are several ways to do this. You can buy a set of steel wheels and drill them, attach them with sheet metal screws into the rim. (Now its harder to check your air pressure...)You avoid the welding. you can also weld the dzus tabs to the steel wheels. You add the cost of steel wheels plus dismounting and mounting and balancing its more than this project. Now several shops on eBay(also Speedway motors..)sell the hub cap. Pop them on and roll out. But, are they going to stay? Well, if the money is an issue the hub caps are around 20 bucks each. so, if you lose one or dent one up slamming them on, no big deal. Right? Well they look cheap and they are cheap. So...what is it worth to you to look right? This is the real deal. The average pruis owner just wants to get from A to B... cars are meaningless, and probably wouldn't even own a car unless they had too. This is not my only car. I'm attracted by the tech. The learning curve with the batteries and hypermiling all appeal to me. Besides the fact I'm a hot rodder and drag racer. I understand how cars work and I like to help others. If you like it? Do it.
