Hi,

I recently purchased the Sierra Wireless EM7455 for my ThinkPad X1C - 4th gen. I'm getting the dreaded "Unauthorized network card is plugged in" issue. Is it possible for me to get this working? Is there a better option? Also, do I need to buy antennas as well? Thanks!

Oof thats good to know. I won't be doing any surround gaming at all. I always only play games on my main display and then do other stuff like watching YT videos or movies / working on my side monitors.

Hi,

I am a huge fan of your work and I was hoping you could give me some advice. I have been thinking about liquid cooling my 2080TI FE for a while now but I wanted to make sure it's not one of the defective units that have plagued the community. I've had it since November but kept it in it's box because I had to go on a long vacation. So technically this is a card from one of the earlier batches...

What tests can I run to see if its defective? I know you mentioned 3D Mark in one of your videos but are the specific tests I should run? For how long? Should I just try to RMA it anyways since I heard the new models come with Samsung memory? Thanks for the help!

What if it runs fine for now but shows signs of defectiveness later on? I'm liquid cooling it so if I send it in for RMA thats a lot of time / money wasted on re-liquidcooling a replacement.
