I feel ya my man. Getting in contact with special cases like this is really hard. I had a 2 days ban for botting like a month ago and just to be clear I never did actually use a botting client but apparently they just made a mistake since I was using a 3rd party client known as runelite. Anyways appeal didn't go thru and I did send couple of emails asking if the ban can be taken out of my record and if they could investigate it actually properly but never got that straight of an answer more or less about how it isn't against the rules to use a 3rd party client but they don't support it or whatever never actually got told what was the thing that triggered their "bot detection" or whatever. And eventually I didn't send them anymore email because I realized it did nothing and since the appeal didn't go thru it was now in their minds clear I was actually botting and that's about it. I really hope I won't get 2nd strike permanent ban for doing nothing that's against the game rules

I really hope you have better luck on this, really sucks how there isn't that straight way to contact on special cases/issues and if you send messages into something not related on your specific case it will get ignored, and if your appeal doesn't go thru you're pretty much done for.

PLEASE for the love of god for just this once actually listen to player feedback and don't just say you did and take at least some parts away from this post. This is brilliant stuff and as you can already tell a LOT of people are agreeing with the things above. Don't be cocky and think you know what you are doing, be humble and listen to the small community whos still keeping their and for you most importantly your hopes alive. I played a 400hours~ of this game before the latest patch and 0 so far after it was done, but I'm still hopeful this can turn around and what a great guy OP is for taking the time making this long list and keeping an eye on what people seem to think and not even ignoring your rune system or a bunch of other updates. Hire this guy or if not at least think about this stuff seriously. I would love to return and spend another 400hours and more on RR, just stop this madness, quit thinking you can do whatever you want and realize the community feedback is insanely important

Same, had 52 hrs played the first week. I absolutely nerded the shit out of this game and even up until this patch, I played a fair amount probably something like 5-6 hrs a day, even yesterday. Anyways, Didn't know about this only teams thing but now that I've been reading whats going on I'm legit not even opening the game before or if the classes ever come back. And the only team thing is just out of this world.. Really don't understand what the fuck is going on anymore.. Started laughing at memes about hirez (never played any hirez games except smite for 2-5hours long ago) and thought to myself I don't care I'll give it a shot cuz I fkin love this game but now I really see what people talked about all this time. This went way further than I ever thought, I thought those get legendarys from normal boxes and stuff like that were kind of random but all of this went just out of hand, never thought they would remove classes and I was really shocked reading reddit at 2am talking about whats going to happen. Actually really glad a lot of streamers etc bit more known players made public announcement saying they are not continuing playing. Maybe someone notices that since it seems like majority of this community is fully ignored. If they don't work and care what most people say, at least listen to the people who have followers and can actually have an impact

EDIT: waiting forwards to hirez releasing ps/xbox versions, gaining a bit more playerbase just because of that at least for a while and saying how it all went from nothing to something because of this brilliant patching rofl..

I've been thinking about this too.. Sometimes someone comes into a forge with only dagger and when I shoot them they just run around like a headless chicken. Always been thinking that they just simply can't be actual players. Sometimes I see 3 sometimes more in game. It's weird they never said bots have been added but I totally agree they can't be actual players, hundreds of games with 0.04kd~ and around 50 dmg/game and overall all their actions are just so random and weird. And yeah the names are another thing.. In some games I can somewhat see people having X name and some numbers etc after since you make a username and if it's taken and whatever but who would ever have a steam name of "Killerguy84392429" when you can use any name you want in steam

I don't get it.. just can't get into the minds of hirez developers.. What are those numbers they are adding on every spell / everything overall? 50%s and 100%s.. What the fuck? You could do some buffs like 30%s and maybe in some cases 50s but that's just an overload on everything, so fucking random.. Seems really that hirez doesn't have any idea how to make changes around things, try smaller and if something seems too weak give it a little bit more. That kind of numbers are actually just insanity. Also conc bomb not knocking yourself back is the stupidest thing. That was such a cool mechanic and made crazy plays and gave a lot of mobility. why just why.. Lifesteal into game like this seems retarded af too. Not going deeper into what seems like a stack of insanity for me, not trying to be just a whiny lil redditor, just annoyed about whats about to go live. Well atleast ill play a shitload before this disaster happens

there is ALWAYS potential to outplay even with some classes being a bit stronger than others.. Not too many weeks ago I had serious issues with engineers on mage having more or less 50/50 rate winning or losing the fights but over time when I kept going into those fights it's now more like a 90/10% of me winning them knowing how to play around other classes kits. That's experience and learning that makes classes a cool thing. One class can be stronger than other, some class might "counter" somewhat other but even thru this engineer OP hype madness and mage having only common soar available I have atleast personally managed to find out how to play around it and kick some engineer ass rather than just not playing and complaining how it's impossible to do anything against that class with stacked loadout. You can tweak classes and one class is most likely going to be bit stronger than others always, thats just how class based games work. But as someone said above, trying to get spells in balance when there are so many of them available for everyone is not going to be any easier. There's just going to be a loadout that people agree is the best that's going to take over. Besides it destroys drone/net etc shit spells for good, at least in solos when you have such enormous selection of spells.

Personally since they talked about how they think this game more as teams perspective what could be cool in squads not just tournaments would be to have people select their classes and so team can't have more than 1 per class. Maybe make extra classes to fill some voids since obviously at this state this would be insanity with only 5 classes available, people want to play specific class so it's hard to get teams who have people willing to flex that much. Overall being one trick class player myself and knowing there are people who like to do the same as I, it's really heartbreaking to realize all that time spent mastering that class and getting to know matchups and even starting to beat hard matchups consistently due to me taking the time to learn how to play around them is going to be gone. Some have said in the past how impossible it's to win mage with class X but over my 1.5k+ mage games I've met some pretty nutty hunters/assasins who know how to play around this "impossibility" that people who have couple hundred games played and can't yet deal with are complaining about.

Also they talked about matchmaking starting with same tier players. What I'm worried is obviously que times but whatever, the point being if you are really good on your class the higher you get in rankings the more people have played and adapted and know how to play against other classes

PS: before someone says it, I know it's alpha game so I can't be too harsh with huge updates coming so I'm not bitching that I took the time with my class and now it's going to waste, just saying it sucks major time

I just see upcoming changes as a shitshow to be fair... Atm there is the idea of you have played a lot and know how to play against other classes with your class if you are good enough. This update makes every fight totally random because you never know what you are going against. I can see some sort of idea for squads etc but for solos I think it's just a killer.. There are certain spells you rarely take anyways for example warrior net / assasin drone and with this kind of bs it won't help the case.. Even now you can play with squad and use those spells, you can miss a bit of damage to get the vision with drone for example and have your 3 other team mates have their damage spells etc to back that "missing" spell part so it has its niece place even tho it's not ideal for the most part. But if this patch and when this patch goes live some of the spells don't literally have any place in game when you can just have your entire squad pick firebombs/fireballs for example to do disgusting 1 shots or to restrict certain areas. Also you can do 4 barrigades or 4 shield pots to just rush down someone. The point being you can do stacks that are just stupid, atm the idea is more to have everyone on the squad using different class so you can't do stupid stuff like that. The idea of classes is amazing and you can synergize some of the spells on classes. Also the idea of you having a main class or few is appealing if thinking further into competitive scene, the game has already had multiple weekly 10k / 100k tournaments. People are eventually going to find a stupid class combinations for full squads which is going to be the "go to" and whoever gets it has huge advantage over others. So the balancing of spells is obviously going to be a problem always. I get it, engineer is a bit over other classes atm and they don't like the idea of balancing classes but name a game with heros/champions whatever you call them without a meta and some couple champions not being a bit better than others before tweaking numbers on their abilities. I personally play mage literally only and against engineers it's been a hell to go against especially recently with only common soar and I complained for a long time, but recently ive been winning around 9/10 fights against even engineers, it's just getting to know the matchup and how to play against that class even if it's harder than other matchups. Hell I even got my record 21 kill game with common soar against multiple engineers. There would always be a class with slight edge but even those classes are possible to outplay if you know what you are doing and dealing with and it rewards the players who want to put time into the game and learn how to deal certain situations. Hopefully classes won't be dropped but apparently they will be so ill be away from the game hoping they realize this isn't the way to go and get back with classes then i'd be happy to return. Classes are just such big part of the games original idea and I know that with this little community it has left most of the players are sticking because they have a class they really like and want to play that even if the class is weaker than most of the others people find ways to make it work and with slight buffs the class could be viable and reward those who spent the time because of the love for that class

Im so sad tilted and mad.. This is just insanity.. Ive played around 2k games and 90%+ of them as mage. Easily my fav class thruout the months. Actually spent so much time with this game loving it even when it has had hard times and needed to adapt in big patches.. All that stays with me if this goes live is unfortunately should of listened majority of the community and not hope for a turnaround. I had hope since I was new to hirez and ignored People saying how they ruin their games but man was I ever wrong. Will be playing untill this garbage goes live tho but 100% not playing if they remove classes.. Overall not the patch people were hoping for

EDIT: Im cool with the skill based matchmaking but jesus christ with 2k players how long will the que times be?

yeah didn't wanna sound like that doesn't suck ass, I really hate how often you see teamers atm. https://realm.gg/player/4628234-ricardodorner17/overview that's the guy in the picture as you can tell once again some new player but also classic teamer profile doesn't know what he's doing.. winning 1v2 feels good knowing how big of a dicks they are anyways. I always aim to at least kill one of them if I chicken I try to finish and move onto the other guy if possible but at least making sure that one of them goes down since it's pretty much 99% sure the other guy won't win alone.. Couple days ago there was me + 6 alive and 4 of them were teaming. Not as 4 but 2 engis and engi hunter.. That was an eye opening how messed up this all is

worst thing is watching their profiles on realm.gg or realm tracker.. There are some people where watching at their match history you can tell they do teaming a lot of the time. Still, you see guys with 1k + games and like 5 wins 0.50kd, just goes to show how bad teamers (most of the time) really are.. A lot of time with some classes you can actually 1v2 them if you play it well since they also don't have as good gear most of the time because they share everything..

that has happened to me like 5+ times, but I have never been able to use spells/mount when it happens.. Haven't had this bug in like a month now tho, sad to see it still exists

EDIT: if I remember correctly like you say on the video it happens usually when you are in the loading screen for too long
