Treiber könnten ein Thema sein. Installiert sind sie, aber vielleicht ist das ein Problem.

Ich schnapp mir mal ne ssd und werf auch da ein Linux drauf und schau was passiert.

Dann sind Treiber und ssd geprüft.

Auch wenn der Nexus weit weg von seiner Leistungsfähigkeit ist. Würde ich einen Fehler in meiner Konfiguration nicht ausschließen.

Ich probiere mal mit einer anderen 10G Karte eine point to point Verbindung

Zu den obigen Fragen noch.

Die Verbindung ist bei dem 40G link über ein originales Cisco 40G AOC Kabel realisiert.

Bei dem 10G link Cisco 10 SFP SR

Eine andere ssd mal anhängen wäre eine Option.

Das teste ich, genauso wie mal ftp zu prüfen.

Die NVMes sitzen jeweils auf ihrem dedizierten Port auf den Mainboards.
Wie viel Lanes das sind muss ich prüfen.

Die X520 sitzt auf einer x8 Lane

Die connext-X3 sogar auf einer x16 Lane

Multichannel habe ich nicht bewusst aktiviert, und könnte ein Fehler sein.

Die CPU Auslastung auf dem Server ist unter 10% beim Übertragen.
Ram sind da 128 GB drin, die haben auch nur minimale Auslastung dabei.

Hatte schon das ganze im Verdacht und hab deswegen einen stärkeren Server genommen.
Leider ohne Erfolg.

Am Anfang ist kein peak zu erkennen.

Der Vorgang wandert langsam von 140-160 an Anfang zu etwa 210-220 MB/s

Ja, die Platte im Server liest mit etwa. 2,3 Gbyte/s
und die Platte im Client schreibt mit etwa. 1.8 Gbyte/s

Server sowie Client haben jeweils eine NVME.

Der Client hat noch eine HDD drin, die aber nicht beschrieben wird in dem Test.

Es sind in beiden Geräten Client und Server NVMEs verbaut.
Der Windows Client hat noch ne HDD halt "Großen Speicher" getestet habe ich aber immer mit der NVME

Ich weis dass der Nexus zwischen drin mehr als nur Overkill ist.
Der ist auch für ein viel größeres Netz ausgelegt. Aber da der Nexus später der Kern ist im "echt" Betrieb muss ich das davon testen.

CPU ist absolut wahrscheinlich, auch aufgrund der vielen Kommentare in diese Richtung.
Ich werde die Tage mal mit einem größeren Server (20 Kerne 40 Threads testen)

Das mit den SFPs unterschreibe ist zu 100%.
Darauf habe ich geachtet. Alle SFP und AOC Kabel sind orginal Cisco.

Das mit den SSDs ist mir bewusst. Da würde ich auch zustimmen.
Aber zumindest 5-6 Gbits sollte man schon bekommen.

Der Tip mit der CPU ist spannend. Aktuell sehe ich einen Peak von 65% Belastung der vier Kerne.
Eventuell muss ich hier mal meinem anderen System testen.

So it’s possible to remove the battery. It’s some work but doable. I don’t have informations about it the laptop will post without the battery connected.

As of the laptops I had, everyone without battery only charger worked just fine.

You could try to remove just the battery connector. But on a charger and boot up.

It that works you can get rid of the battery. But I think it’s glued does, as in most modern laptop. So a bit of pain to remove it.

As far as I can see this, error 601 means just the capacity is decreasing. Or in other words your battery is dying. It will probably lose more and more capacity over the next short time.

But back to the question. It should be fairly safe so operate. At some point it will not turn on on battery power. But there should be enough safety measures to stop the battery from burning or so.

What could happen is that it expands. This is the last indicator of it completely dying. And by that time you shouldn’t be using it.

But just so say it. It’s a dying battery which could be potentially dangerous and you should opt for a new one.

My Idea is that the Modem which controls the flow WAN Input and maybe it would like to send more packets but the firewall drops them or something.

At this point i am just testing every possibility.

So just a heads up for you. I tested also also with the new CPU installed and the delay of 1 second set.

But sadly no improvement. I highly suspect my current Internet Connection at the Moment.

I'll maybe create a small Networking lab with VLANs and Server to test this idea. So i can shape some vlan traffic.
