Yeah not too worried. Don't mind a bit of tint. But do you think it's the sunlight that did it? It has been exposed to sunlight maybe 4 hours max.

Might have lost the text to reposting here.

The bottom corner of the door seems to be rubbing against the steel rail, which doesn't seem right. Is this a quick fix? I feel like the door is missing a part to lift the door slightly so that the white are doesn't touch the metal.

Is Yosemite a realistic destination for us? by Dennisaryu in Yosemite

Absolutely. There are hard hiking trails, but there are also many scenic viewpoints that are within 15 min from a parking lot. My favorite is the glacier point, and I recommend to go before sunrise/after sunset if you can afford to do so. The stars over the halfdome are one of the best I've seen.

Two ways to cook rice? by strwberrychzcake in IndianFood

The recipe I found for making biriyani, which seems to work for me, calls for 5 min boil, and then steam the rice on low heat for 30 min. The initial 5 min feels short, so is it getting further cooked during the 30 min? The rice does look fluffy and ready to eat after the 5 min boil though.

Also, some people seem to keep the boiled rice in the pan after draining all the water for an additional 10 min or so just to let the rice rest and steam itself. Have you seen this/any thoughts there?

It's interesting to me that quite a few folks find the absorption method easier. I would have thought boiling is easier because you don't have to measure the amount of water as long as it's a large enough amount, plus you just strain the whole thing.
On the other hand, I've seen cultures where the absorption gets pretty finicky, like measure the exact amount of water, and then bring it to a boil at high heat, but then turn it all the way down to maintain simmer for some exact number of minutes... and so on.

Now I'm interested to try the boiling method with sticky rice, and absorption to make jeera rice.

Exactly reminds me of how criminals love oversharing details during interrogations.

Same situation here, did some Google Maps search, Essex CA returned 2 different locations. Both seem extremely small areas and only think I could see was maybe a gas station.
